Berry and JJ in the same defensive backfield were really formidable. I won't believe anyone is Eric Berry until they prove it.
Maybe add Evan to mix in ga couple of years, and that could be secondary of the level you speak.
We've had some real bad arses at these positions.... Dale Carter and Roland James were Berry-like.
It feels like we're getting UT-worthy talent again.
So what's the deal with this guy? He is visiting? Why in the world is he committed to marshall with the offer list he has?... Do we think there is real interest? Sorry, just don't want to wade through the 18 pages from yesterday..
If Wilcox doesn't become a plus recruiter, he isn't getting there. The defensive coaching wasn't impressive enough to make me believe at all. The UF gameplan looked awful.
We're not sure if he's good enough but he's had a stellar academic career.
I saw B. Moore play in high school and called it one of my very earlier posts. Talented? Yes. SEC caliber? No. JMO. Now, I hope he can realize his talent and contribute big time. It is possible. However, the love VN gave him was overhyped.
-Hubbs.I think Tennessee can beat out Marshall for him if they want him yes.
I don't know how jacked up it is. It must not be too jacked up if Tennessee is visiting him. Anytime you have a bunch of transfers in high school it's a red flag, but I don't think it's an impossible situation. I also think he was a bit like Crawley in that he just got a test result back.
Amarillo and Pampa was where lived from 10-16 yrs old. If you get a chance while around Amarillo, drive down to Palo Duro canyon state park. It is a very underated and beautiful place. Though not so much this time of year. I have had two friends who killed the 72 ozer at the Big Texan, one of them is only about 5'8" 170. I saw enough misery from them to know I never wanted to try it.
Ohh im not callin each player to be of Berry ability but if you watch the tapes of Bonner and Leggett, what i notice is their break on the ball. Mcneil would play the EB J J role as being the tackle machine. With experience you wouldnt have to play as much zone which would free up backers to play in the box
This is probably a little too strong, but from the tapes I watched, if we have Bonner and Leggett out there in 2013, we'll have the best pair of CB's in the SEC. That is saying a lot considering that LSU is cranking out a steady stream of NFL cornerbacks
Gray is just so blazing fast, he is also going to help somewhere. He is just a little inexperienced at this point in time.
