Going back to earlier questions, then we can put this all together.

Why did we stop recruiting Bellemy?

Why did we stop recruiting Kimbrow?

I would argue that YOU have no idea if we(as in Tennessee's coaching staff) did stop recruiting either one. Just because they did not pick Tennessee, does not mean you know anything about why they ended up somewhere else. Maybe you read something somewhere that allowed you to use it as an excuse. That does not in any way make it accurate.

Are those tap shoes I hear?

Alright, just call your close friend Paul Fortenberry and ask him to fax you on over the kids transcript. Then you can post it and this can be settled. I always look for actual truth in what is said or done. I don't usually buy into the whole "so and so said so" stuff.

So your stance is no recruit is ever passed over because of grades unless you can provide a copy of the transcript and test score no matter what media outlet reports the issue?

No, I am sure that is the case sometimes. My point is that it is way over used as an excuse on this message board. When we lose out on a recruit it is usually the 1st excuse given. "He must have grade issues". Just one of the many lame excuses homer fans use. I would think with how careful CDD is (or claims to be) when selecting kids to "allow" them to commit grades would seldom be an issue. So far, I have seen people say grades have been the reason we lost Redding, Henderson, and now Crawley. Yes, I even saw someone bring up "the math class" and Autry when he picked Miss State.

Not at all. Your claiming we stopped recruiting them. I say you have no real proof that it happened. Your just using it as an excuse. Alot of fans on here do it. I understand.

Go back to Bellemy's thread for his OV last year (Ole Miss game I believe). Then go to Kimbrows thread around June of this year from when he visited camp.

In both of those you will find tangible evidence that will show you that the staff did in fact stop recruiting both players.

I have a feeling you won't do this though because you are hard headed, and I have a feeling you get off on looking like a horses a$$ on here. If true, look up 'Two girls , one cup' on You Tube because you need a new fetish.

Wrong on Henderson, try again.

Several people mentioned grades in Hendersons thread as a reason he was asked to "look around". Alot of others used the excuse he was not SEC size and would not be able to play here. Oddly enough, he was the same size when CDD allowed him to commit months before. The same ones saying he would never play in the SEC, were raving about him when he picked UT. Once again, fans seeking out some reason to view losing recruits as a positive thing.

This discussion is about Crawley. We are in the Crawley thread. Since we are in the Crawley thread let's talk about why Crawley is no longer a Vol. In this Crawley thread it has been said that Crawleys grades are an issue. Crawley didn't even have a test score until a few weeks ago which is when the grades issues were reported for Crawley. It is perfectly appropriate to say that the reason Crawley is no longer a Vol is because of his grades. I invite you to go back in this Crawley thread and look at the chain of events surrounding Crawley. Please explain to us why you feel that Crawleys grades are not the issue here. Please only discuss Crawley since this is his thread and who we are discussing.

You claim he will not be a VOL because of his grades. I have yet to see anyone post any proof of that being fact. I have asked to see the proof several times. I will wait for you to scan the transcript. I have time.

Henderson was the unfortunate case, but I don't remember ever seeing grades mentioned. Henderson was, IMO, the victim of a 5-7 record. I think CDD needs more instant contributors in this class, not projects. We also don't know what was said in private, but I think Khalid wanted to be proactive in ensuring he wasn't greyshirt candidate.

I do wish him the best of luck.

...BTW, if he was still a commit half of the people on here would be complaining about the scholly he's taking. I liked him personally as a project.

How's your search on Bellemy and Kimbrow going since we're talking homework?

I have a reputable site in VQ backing up my argument that grades ARE the issue. I am waiting on your evidence that they AREN'T the issue. My opinion that grades are the issue has backing yours doesn't at this point. It appears to me that the burden of proof lies in your court. You provide the transcript proving that grades AREN'T the issue!

Why would I search for random message board opinions when that is what I am questioning here? Just because someone posting in a thread says "I think we have stopped recruiting the kid" after he has selected Vandy or another team as his leader does not make it reliable info.

I thought I read that teams can no longer greyshirt kids in the SEC.

VQ and the Maryland rivals site have both verified that grades are the issue. If you don't believe it, well...

Why do you get on a message board?

You proved my whole point for me. You have no info other than some random posting on a website that sounds like a good excuse to you. The problem is when posters like yourself buy into random comments on a website being fact. Could it be grades? Maybe. You have no facts to say that is the absolute case.

The moderators (read: not randoms) on two Rivals sites have said grades were the issue.

He is hopeless. He gets on here and claims the sites reporting this are all making up the grade issues but then wants us to provide the documentation. Lol
