Apparently a recruit cannot take OV's until they pass a qualifying test (usually ACT), so that is why Crawley has not taken any officials yet. If Crawley seriously looks around or signs with another school, it will almost certainly be because he needs a school that is easier to get into than Tennessee, and most probably that will not be an SEC school.
Crawley fell in love with the idea of playing at Tennessee because not only do we have his major (mortuary science) but ours is one of the most renowned in the country partially due to UT's "body farm". If he can get in, he will come here to play football.
It is strange that he has not taken the test at this point in his senior year. It may be that he will need a year of prep school (or JUCO) before coming here, and he knows it.
Wow, that is a unique major. I don't think I've ever heard of kids going to play football for a degree in mortuary science. I guess the blind side had a different effect on Crawley.
