'12 D.C. DB Kenneth Crawley

He does not have to pass ACT he just has to take it. It is a balance between GPA and Score. He had a 2.7 GPA last reported. I think he can do fairly bad on the ACT. This assumes he does decently in his Senior year.

The real question is... "Has he actually taken it?" If he has and failed, uh oh. If he has not taken it, maybe it's just a bunch of worry for nothing. Still... he needs to take care his binness.

I think you would be surprised at how many guys don't get that qualifying test score until the last minute. One thing that is important to ask is how far off is the score? Most kids are going to improve that score 1-3pts if they get the proper help in preparing. If he has more work to do than that he can't be a take.

Methinks Dooley would sign him anyways if he is not too far off and he can bring that score up over the next few months

I agree but how far off is the key. The 25 rule doesn't allow you to take 3 guys like this and have 2 spots. In the past you could do that assuming one wouldn't make it. Its a different game now.

Are we sure it's the ACT he's taking? For some reason a lot of states along the east coast take the SAT and qualifications could be different with the SAT than the ACT. Idk though, just a thought. Anyone know?

Sure it could be either. Some kids will take both just to see if one format favors them above the other.

DB Kenneth Crawley, Washington (D.C.) HD Woodson
Crawley is tall and long-limbed, and moves fluidly backward or forward; he also breaks on the ball well. He uses his length to make things difficult for receivers both at the line of scrimmage and when the ball is in the air. He was all over the field, especially in the afternoon. At first glance, he doesn't look as tall as he actually is, but he is a legit 6-footer and plays bigger because he's so long.

Was named one of the top performers in Wednesday's practice for the Chesapeake Bowl.

I really really hope Crawley can get qualified, kid is a STUD. Crawley & Coleman at CB would be a great duo for years to come!

I'm excited about Geraldo Orta coming back. He had some good HS tape. Defense looks really promising for the future as long as we can keep our coaches hah.

I'm 100 percent committed to Tennessee -- for now. I say 'for now' because if I go on a visit and see something I really like, then I might reconsider. But right now Tennessee is where I'm going …I committed to Tennessee because it's a big-time SEC school and the coaches have been real to me. They're been up-front with me, and I respect them for that. … I'm taking my official to Tennessee on January 13th. I was down there in the summer, but now I want to see what the atmosphere is like during the school year, and [I also want to] make sure it's a place I want to spend the next three or four years. I know it's not going to be a lifestyle like here in D.C., so I have to make sure I'm comfortable with the area and the people there…. Michigan, Maryland, Colorado, Kansas, Temple, Marshall and Michigan State are all still talking to me. I'm still looking at Colorado, Maryland and Michigan State. … I have an official visit scheduled for Michigan State, but I'm not sure if I'll go yet or not. Then I'm thinking about taking visits to Maryland and Colorado, too…. Maryland is my hometown school and they're saying some good things to me. I feel like I can step in and help them in the secondary …Then Colorado has shown me and my teammates [at Woodson] a lot of love. … But as of right now Tennessee is still my top school.
