Well we obviously have serious interest in him if he is here on an OV, but is he seriously interested in us Jmo? Or is this like a Landon Collins situation?

Kids tape looks good. Good, quick step, gets leverage and gets to the second level very quickly. Opposing teams look quite big too, so Competition looks adequate. If he could get down to about 320lbs, he would be even quicker.

According to Scout...

Cochran is one of the best pure centers in the country, and he's a load. At 340 pounds, he's surprisingly agile and is a tremendous run-blocker. His pass blocking skills are solid and he's got good strength and gets off the ball quickly. He could also play guard, but being a pure center, is likely best suited to stay there.

I am sitting in the library currently with a view of Neyland... and the lights are on and shining! The recruiting ability of this staff is underrated IMO. The ability they have to hold onto commitments, along with the ability to sell the program at its lowest point is impressive.

Fits the mold of ginormously-huge oxen for the running game (see Richardson, A., Jackson, M., Posey, A.).
