Austin Gholson walking on at FSU couldn't be any further from the truth. He received his verbal offer while he was at FSU's spring football camp and committed a few days after he got home and talked over with his parents. You may live in Prattville but your info is horrible.

I'm starting to like our chances more and more. FSU lost another game today falling to 2-3. Got to believe jimbo is on the hot seat.

Jimbo isn't on the hot seat, but the honeymoon is surely over.

Not much of a factor with Shanks' recruitment. J.C. Coleman the fullback has more to do with Shanks than the FSU record.

Mario Edwards just decommited from FSU

Mario Edwards leaning toward OU after Red River route - ESPN

Jamies Winston was at the UA game and said

when asked why, since he is committed to FSU, his reply: "I have not signed with anyone yet."

"I'm very much interested in Alabama. FSU is falling."

Chris Casher looks be looking elsewhere now also.

Which means FSU's class is falling apart and Shanks might be looking really hard now, especially with UT on him their chances will now improve

If he doesn't like how FSU is playing, then I doubt he will give us a much harder look based on how we are playing against decent teams so far.

The difference is FSU sold these kids on a bunch of hype and failed to produce. FSU is going backwards.

UT is selling them on rebuilding and getting back and they are.

Just saw that. Our fans need to remember that as bad as UT's situation seems, there's always worse. FSU coaching staff is screwing the pooch after being top 5 to start the year. Fans and recruits aren't happy.

Yep it is one thing to be middle of the pack in the SEC and still at a chance to be bowl bound. Its another to be middle of the pack in the ACC. FSU was getting recruits because they believed FSU would dominate in a weak conference and be BCS bound every year, but now they are seeing FSU is along way off from that happening.

Same on ou boards. They got on me about saying FSU was not what everybody was buying.


Before FSU can worry about returning to the national scene they need to focus on competing in their mid tier conference.

Keep an eye on this guy. He is one of the guys committed elsewhere that the staff has stayed in touch with and sold on being a part of rebuilding the program. Shanks and O'Brien will go a long way towards solidifying our interior defensive line.

Interesting that you say the staff "sold" him rather than "is selling" him and that you say they "will" go a long way rather than they "would" go a long way...
