Hahahahahaha my bad both sound the same. I'm going crazy with all these Bammers around. Hahahaha I may need to move to Memphis or Nashville to get a break from this nonsense. Posted via VolNation Mobile
Hopefully TOS gets another story from this guy based on his visit. I would definitely like to hear what he thought of UT. It would be huge if we could battle with AU.
Shanks is a kid that can swallow up the run if you come his way. He is a kid with good size. He looks on film to have a thick and powerful lower body and he should be able to add more size as he continues to physically develop. He has a good get-off, but not a defender that will produce a lot of quick penetration. His strength is taking on blockers and he can be stout and defend a gap. He does a very good job of coming out of his stance low and generating a good power from that big lower body as he engages a blocker. He does a good job of bringing his hands and being able to quickly press blockers back. He fires out of his stance and attacks blockers like he is hitting the sled. He is capable of making it look easy and good. He is able to anchor and locate the ball and disengage and swallow ball carriers up. He is a good wrap-up tackler. When he finds the ball and goes he moves well for his size. As a pass rusher he has the tools to get into a blocker and push them back and collapse the pocket. Shanks is a thickly built and powerful kid who can be a stout and tough run defender.
