I thought opposite day was January 25th?
That is what you get for thinking.
Thanks, I like being able to read it.

So it looks like Johnson is staying, but no mention of Graham. And I don't have any real reason why, but I like having Weinke with QB's.
Following the footsteps of Gruden? I would love to have him, but I do not think it is yet in the catds.

Ansley calling the D is a good move IMO by Pruitt.
Just from what I've learned about him since his hiring, I agree. I'm really excited about him joining the staff.

I'm not claiming Champs of the off season, but I ain't gonna lie...I'm extremely happy with everything and the direction we seem to be headed in. If nothing else, it seems that "we" care more about winning than we have in a long time. That's worth a lot to me.

Especially the fact that he's calling plays. During the OC search there was a ton of panic that Pruitt wouldn't even let offensive coaches do their thing, let alone defense considering that's his side of the ball.

Letting Ansley call plays is a great sign that he's perfectly capable of being a CEO type head coach. Absolutely love it.

Yep, its exciting to me. I almost feel bad for all those folks that don't get excited from fear of being disappointed.

Almost.

Its important that Ansley can handle it, but I think its just as important that Pruitt is able to let it go from a management standpoint.

I think the offensive staff moves are the headliner as they should be. Adding Chaney and Tee was a homerun IMO. If Ansley works out really well and Pruitt is able to focus on the big picture that could turn out to be just as big of a hit.

If they are able to find a couple or 3 more wins this year with the staff additions recruiting should take another good step in the right direction.

Guess:
I think Pruitt is fairly happy with the staff. I believe Graham was the 1st choice as a replacement if Sherrer or Johnson were to take another opportunity.
And I believe he will remain 1st choice but doesn't seem like Pruitt wants to replace anyone else at the moment.
Good sign imo.

Yea, I loved the idea of getting Graham but I'm glad no one else is leaving. I really like this staff, hope they get'er did!

It will be interesting see how QBs will do this year with Chaney and Weinke. Would’ve made sense to have him as QB coach being a former heisman QB.

I'm excited, but I liked the idea of Pruitt calling defense. I didn't care for it when he started stepping on Helton's toes on offense, but hopefully he doesn't do that to CJC...

Yea, I was thinking the same thing. Surprised he was okay with this move. It is a demotion for sure. Maybe he felt overwhelmed and is happy with the move.
what is surprising is how many people think that being in charge of special teams is some minor job like inflating footballs or filling drink bottles...... its not ! its an extremely important job on the staff.

I think Sherrer sticks. His pay Che k ain’t changed just a title and still a coordinator. Interesting Tee will prolly have an asst. HC title too. I think they grooming him for HC when Pruitt goes home to bama in a few seasons.
Subscribe to that theory. Tho I think it’ll be more than a FEW seasons.

Thank you, Sara. Am I the only one that thinks that, some of our local reporters asks some of the most asinine questions? Good grief, asking about CPF opening the checkbook.
