McClain will be an elite 5* caliber OT prospect in next year's class.
Both early commitments for '11 are National Top 25 caliber players.

"It's good to come to a place that you want to have as your home and then be the best player at your position," said MacLain, who also is working as a valuable peer recruiter for the Vols. "It's pretty cool."

"The camp was full of intensity and high speed," he said. "Everything was just going, going, going. The coaches were saying run to every drill, sprint to every drill. They really held their word to that and it was really awesome."

Bump.... I just read the new VN article saying how we were recruiting the top TE in the class of 2011, and remembered how this kid is already "committed".

2 receptions, 26 yards, and 5 tackles. I'm not positive on how many games (3-5 is what it looks like), but that's cumulative for the year.

Doing great, team is 6-0 in the 4A class of NC, #3 in the state poll! Unfortunately plays for a team that doesn't throw to the TE, but he has caught the 3 passes they've thrown him. He is averaging 8 pancakes a game and has only played in 2 fourth quarters.

8 pancakes a game? Thats pretty solid. 4A is pretty decent in NC too I think, but I'm not real sure.

Either way though, he looks like he's gonna be a great tackle prospect for us.
