I went in and looked at all the schools that have offered Worley, and most already have a QB already committed (UNC, UF, UK, Stanford, UGA w/ no offer)... except for FSU, LSU, ND and of course UT. any thoughts on that?
Our biggest competition appeared to be LSU, who has Justin as their #2 guy behind Brissett. He has options, but UT is the only school out of his Top 5(UT, UNC, LSU, FSU, ND) where he is their legit #1 guy. As most of those schools except FSU, want to take 2 QBs in this class.
As for why he has taken so long on pulling the trigger, he has a great head on his shoulders and wants to be absolutely sure of where he wants to go. UT has been that for the last couple of months, but he wanted to give everybody a chance to recruit him and he wanted to visit all these schools before making his pledge public. His coaches say he is VERY driven and extremely smart. He is SEVERELY underrated by Rivals, Scout, ESPN, etc. in large part because they see him as a "System QB" which is BS. He can play in any system and be successful. He has a very good arm and can read defenses with the best of them. He will most likely redshirt his freshman year, which he is totally cool with, and then be Bray's backup for 2 years and then have 2 years as our starting QB. I cannot wait to watch him win the State Championship this year!
