Disgraceful. The kid is a top five player in the state easily. Rivals is the National Enquirer of recruiting this year.
Randolph was on the Atlanta Journal Constitution pre-season Super 11 list. Not sure where the Rivals list is but there's no way he is 47th. Here's a link...look at the frame on this kid and you'll know Rivals is off their rocker if they think he is 47th. #6 of 11.

Just got home from the game. He played all snaps I saw on O, D and ST. I missed a few snaps for a snack and left with 3:00 to go in the fourth. Overall he was not involved as much as I expected.
First half at RB had 3 carries for about 40 yds. They faked the handoff a lot.
The second half he had 5 carries for 9. He picked up the blitz well and did enough to keep the rusher from the QB. He blocks well about 60% of the time. They faked to him and gave it off to another RB a lot.
He had 8-10 tackles that I saw. He tended to over commit and appeared to alway be leaning to the sidelines; thus, he did not adjust to cut backs inside well. Seemed to be less noticeable in the second half. He had a few missed tackles. Tackled well in the open field but did not look comfortable tackling after coming off a block or having to avoid a block and make a tackle.
ST- 1 return late in the game from the goal line to the 25. Otherwise you did not realize he was on ST's. He did make a few key first blocks for the other returnees but they never seemed on the same page. On coverage, well let's just say that's when he got his breather. The kickoff alway went to the opposite side of the field and he would cut to the middle but was always the last guy back. He just jogged down behind the kicker.
Highlights- a 25 yd run in which he broke 3 tackles and it took 3 guys to bring him down.
And fumble recovery returned 25 yds again requiring multiple players to tackle him.
Overall he played well when his number was called and everyone in the place did not know what was coming. They only called his number on O when they really needed something it seemed. He was jogging a lot but he never came off the field. They other team stayed away from any passes over the middle.
Oh... and please do crucify me if you don't agree with any of this or if it is not 100% accurate. I am a read only kinda guy, I know my place(especially in the recruiting forum). I just wanted to post my observations of the one game I was able to see first hand. Btw, good to see I was not the only one in orange. Go Vols

- AJCAJC Super 11 selection Brian Randolph is a legend at Kell for his hard hits. Two years ago, Randolph hit a Lassiter wide receiver just has he was catching the ball.
“The kid’s earpads flew out of his helmet,” Kell coach Derek Cook recalled. “He tried to get up, but couldn’t … he looked like he was trying to find his eyeballs in the grass.”
Don't think they'll be on the field at the same time, so how about Darius Hanks or Marquis Maze in that fetal position. Now were talkin
