Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't it the job of people at Rivals to watch film and go to games in order to perform evaluations and subsequent player ratings?

I understand there are alot of players out there but with the kind of noise Randolph is making this year if they aren't at least watching his film they aren't doing their jobs

I am no expert, but from my observation it seems that Rivals only updates the rankings every 2 or 3 months. I would assume at the end of the season the rankings would be updated after they have had time to watch as much film on different players as possible. It is possible with this happening that they have already seen Randolph play, but they just haven't updated the rankings...

If the so called people at rivals and scouts were experts at evaluating talent they would be on a coaching staff somewhere not sitting in the bleachers watching practice, camps, and games!

Having Janzen Jackson, Eddrick Loften, Pat Martin and Brent Brewer at safety sounds like a solid group.

and Randolph of course....

Were not allowed to copy/paste whole articles but you can take certain quotes or the important parts & past them.

Randolph is my favorite recruit in this class so far. He is going to be a very solid football player for UT.

I agree...the best in our class. He's got quality offensive numbers as a RB as well. I've watched him play one time and he is definitely well rounded. I'm not a star gazer by any means and think that system is way overrated, but whomever it was that gave him a 3* is off their rocker. It may have been because of the shoulder injury and surgery, but he shows no signs of that affecting him at all.

If he can run a 4.4 40, cover well, and tackle we might have a stud corner on our hands. We definitely could use him up close for run support.
