'11 GA S Brian Randolph

GT, you'll just have to excuse us really....we're a little defensive because (in case you didn't know):

a.) Our recruiting sucks
b.) Dooley sucks
c.) Kiffin sucks
d.) Fulmer still sucks
e.) We aren't targeting enough 6-star prospects.

i was in mid-chew when i laughed out loud. now i have pretzle bits all over my screen. thanks.

love this post

Gamecock assistant G.A. Mangus is currently in the state of Georgia dropping by high schools. A couple of stops I have confirmation of are at Wheeler in Marietta and also Kell. DB Brian Randolph is the main junior prospect at Kell that South Carolina offered a while back, but I hear he's likely Tennessee- bound.

I hope whoever wrote that is correct. He'd be a huge pickup for the Vols.

BTW, Rashad Baker was a damn good safety and yeah I think he's still in the NFL, at least he was last year with Oakland.

Good stuff Hens. Let's hope he's right.

As I've said many times, Tennessee needs at least 2 impact safeties in this class. Randolph and Walls would be an amazing haul.

Great news! I gotta say I'm pleasantly surprised by the progress UT is making addressing its areas of need with high quality players.

Isn't Rashad Baker still playing? He was at least last season or the season before, and is Jason Allen a cb now?

Yeah Baker and Allen are still playing. Last time I checked Rashad was at Oakland and Jason was at Miami with Gibril Wilson.

bruh, he played with Nnamdi on the Raiders, got cut

played with two really good young CBs in Miami (Smith & Davis) and got cut.

He has been GARBAGE!! I cant emphasize that word enough.

It should've been buyer beware for the Dolphins who thought he'd be better suited for FS. The year with the Raiders he played SS and though his pass protection was not great, neither was his safety partner, and he did have about 130 tackles that year.

I'm gonna go on record as officially saying UT lock.
