Randolph is elite. His JR film isn't as good as his Sophomore film because he played with a torn labrum. Also a great student boasting a 4.0 GPA.

At least 2 safeties are needed in this class. Preferably 3.

Randolph gets very early PT if he comes to Tennessee. No question about it.

Justin is staying in school and plans to graduate from GT. He quit the team to spend more time on his schoolwork.

He has narrowed his choices to ...UT and GT

per espn

"I have narrowed it down to two for right now. Georgia Tech and Tennessee. I like both of them a lot early, and they are equal to me right now. I am trying to decide before senior season starts but we'll see what happens."

I would like to think that we have that advantage over GT, simply because SEC football is > than any other conference.

It would be HUGE to have a safety class of Avery Walls and this guy. I'd be completely satisfied with that.

I posted he was down to UT and GT on April 8th.

why do you feel he is gonna pick UT?

Depth at S is a huge negative for GT and a huge plus for UT.

GT has 4-5 guys who could be starters. We are loaded at S...and we just signed three last year.

UT has a bigger fanbase and a bigger stadium.

He likes GT due to how close it is to home and Charles Kelly who is his position coach at GT.

I just researched the two depth charts, and wrote a huge post with the numbers according to rivals rankings but my window closed somehow. The bottom line is we have a younger and more talented core of safeties, so I would have to disagree with UT having the depth chart advantage.

Janzen, Myles, Waggner, and Wilks will be juniors his frosh year, and Loften hasn't even been cleared yet.
