'11 GA RB Isaiah Crowell

What is ridiculous is UGA fans can not accept it at face value which shows you do not like it. So what you offered a kid becuase you hope it would help get Crowell. Schools do it when desperate for a top recruit. If it makes you feel better to think he is a legit member of the dream team go ahead, whatever floats your boat, especially since you are one of the few UGA fans that beleive CMR will bring UGA back to the top.

Crowell's mom sees through it to bad you can not.

You also might want to listen to this radio interview with Fran Tarkinton. He is blasting UGA for keeping CMR and what CMR has done. That would be like Manning calling out UT or Stabler calling out UA. And he is doing on an Atlanta radio where every UGA fan and GA players can hear him. So go ahead and stay in denial. In the end it does no matter who UGA signs they will not be playing for the same coach in all 3 or 4 years that they are there.

Relax Nostradamus. Does the possibility of losing Crowell hurt that bad? Dang. Don't insult Manning by comparing him to TarkEnton (no i), old boy Fran has lost a few screws unfortunately.

Did you have Cootie over for an OV this last weekend? You probably only offered a greyshirt because you already have a surplus of 12 players and still looking for more for this class.

Getting Cootie means nothing as far as Crowell is concerned. If Crowell goes to Bama, good for him. Its his decision and not mine. UGA will still be here even if we don't get him.

Can we all agree on one thing? Georgias fan base (throw in Auburn as well) are the most delusional in the country. Both fan bases should morph into one because they are so much the same. Im gonna laugh if Crowell spurns UGA because they are convinced he's signing with them..along with the rest of the "Dream Team" as I always hear from my UGA fan co-worker:rofl:

add arkansas to that list as well.

I just posted in another thread how great it is having fans of other schools contributing to the recruiting forum. It's not every day you find a UGA fan and a Bama fan bickering on a TN site.

Nah man. I'm UGA all the way but I also have a lot of respect for all other teams.

Nance has to be insane. You turn down a free ride to Vandy, TO VANDY. Not only would you get a top notch education but you might have gotten on the field there.

There's no way he gets past Bray and UT will always recruit top notch QB's. I kind of feel bad for the kid.

the vandy football program is even more of a train wreck right now than it usually is..he prob saw the writing on the walls there. as far as getting on the field, if u are a true competitor/athlete, u arent afraid of competing for a starting job...no matter who it is against, especially somebody in the same class as u.

BTW he was not offered a grayshirt according to post recruiting reports, plus in the AJC article about him commiting it said that UGA was his only offer when he commited.

BTW also get your numbers correct. We are not 12 over but 10 over and that is counting the 2 grayshirts from last year. But we also look to have maybe 1 or 2 decommit if things play out like it looks like they will.

In reagrds to Crowell I really have no idea where he goes and if I guess it would be UGA. I just pointed out that was the only reason Cootie got the offer in my opinion.

Did we take Sapp last year to hopefully sway Rome this year? I seem to recall hearing the two are close friends.

May have been a thought of the staffs at the time, but I beleive they saw potential and needed to fill the class. And he has turned out well so far, contributed alot on special teams and should see more playing time next year.

In regards to IC's mother CMR better watch out this weekend, because this shows me she is not happy and it will be the subject of a converstaion with CMR.

Isaiah Crowell’s mother said she’s thrilled about their family friend Quintavious Harrow receiving a scholarship offer from Georgia, but not if it comes with any attachments to her son.

“Well, for Quintavious it’s wonderful,” Deborah Crowell told me Monday. “But I don’t want them to do it to get Isaiah there. I’m not selling my son’s soul to the devil. This is his decision. If they want to give Quintavious a scholarship, that’s fine. But that can’t have anything to do with Isaiah. He has too much pressure on him as it is and I’m going to lay that on the line with them. We’ll discuss that while we’re up there.”

Is she referring to CMR as the devil there. I think she is implying that if they offered Cootie to get IC. CMR better be doing some quick talking this weekend. He might have overplayed the religion card here.

Harrow accepted. Georgia jumped to 15th, pushed us back down one.

I found this interesting about Harrow. According to Espn these are all the UT commits ranked lower than Harrow (78)

Jordan Williams (77)
Trevarris Saulsberry (77)
Tom Smith (76)
Tino Thomas (75)
Allan Carson (74)
Devrin Young (74)

You have five other players rated as 78s.

But please continue bashing the kid.

Also, he is ranked even with Ronald Carswell and above Philip Ely in Bama's class...just saying, since the Tide doesn't accept commitments from prospects rated as low as Harrow. Oops.

Crowell's mom was fed that idea. We have been on Harrow since he showed out at a camp last spring. He was going to be a sign and place, but he surprised everyone and got the grades he needed. We had no reason to be desperate, there is nothing to worry about with Crowell, he was UGA's to lose before this offer and it won't affect him that much. Did him being IC's friend/cousin help? Sure, but it isn't the sole reason he got the offer. It isn't even the main one, but I am sure it was on the list.

QH is a legit player, not a Rolo McClain, but still should be able to contribute. Will he be the next Thomas Davis? No, I highly doubt that. He will be a solid player, especially on ST, and possibly actually on the field as a DB or ILB if he grows another inch or two and puts on some weight. If he ever starts for us, I will be a little worried though, unless he turned out to be the biggest Sleeping Beauty in CFB history.

i dont have any good bama or uga connections but i heard today crowell is leaning to bama. may be something to keep an eye on. we do have a coach that is close to a bama coach tho:thumbsup:

ESPN ranked a 5'11 190 lb. OLB with one offer a 3*. Real cool story bro. You should be proud.

I have to say I doubt that personally, especially after what happened today.

This is recruiting however...so never say never.

This gets interesting for UA. Everyone knows we want Crowell but UGA will be hard to beat. But just read J Allen said he was told UA is now full at RB.

Great point here buddy. ESPN saw Nance as a 74 2 star.

They decided to shut it down after Hart? I know there is talk he was recruited as a CB, but you don't take a 5* RB and not at least try him at RB.

I'm not a big star-gazer, but if you're gonna bring up ESPN's rating of Harrow, why not mention Rival's 0* rating or Scout's 2* (135th S) rating?

Rivals has rated him, so that doesn't really count. As far as the Scout rating, well that just doesn't really help my argument so I conveniently left it out. :shades:

Haha, gotcha. I know nothing about the kid--hadn't even heard about him till today--so I appreciate the info, since he'll be playing for one of our biggest rivals for the next 4 or 5 years.

Happy to have rival fans bringing info to the board, although, I do recommend avoiding any star/rating arguements.

:hi:
