First off, I am a huge UT fan and in no way have a defeatist attitude. That being said I was a poster about one year ago giving inside info on BB from a really good friend of mine that played basketball (among other things) with him. It wasnt much that had already been posted or known so no biggie other than he HATED the area. I digress, now I have a cousin that lives in Pheonix city (very close to Columbus) and has known GW a long time. Look at my other post an you will see Im not big on getting this kid (oh how I wish I were wrong). Said cousin is a bit older than GW but knows him on a personal basis and said he is getting a kick outta this recruiting stuff and the NFL draft couldn't come close to they attention he is getting now.


BTW Barn or Bama. Momma likes CDD and CCS ALOT and wants him here....for what its worth. After the way this kid has played everyone he could sign with the Packers on NSD.:ph34r:

Also, can't you guys foresee what he is attempting to do?

He's setting the stage so "IF" Wright signs with Tennessee he can start blabbering in the media about this "connection" and start speculating about all kinds of NCAA violations, etc with his recruitment...He's still looking for his 15 minutes of fame. That's the way that guy works.

That's the most sincere he has seemed. Seems astute, too. IMO, the team that wants him is Auburn; the team that needs him is Tennessee. He makes it pretty clear that he wants Auburn, but that his mother prefers Tennessee. I wouldn't be at all surprised if he picks Bama.

Needs before wants. He can be a rockstar at Tennessee.

Yea I think with the whole "want and need" thing, UT has the best shot, but during that video he seemed like he was torn about it bc he likes the Barn.

Yep, he def wants the Barn. But he thinks the Vols offer a better opportunity, and his mother prefers that... which is why he just might split the difference and go to Bama. He didn't seem all that amped, so the Barn is clearly not a lock.

The talk about how his family is about 35 percent of his decision, and how he wants to see the "joy on his moms face" when he picks, and that he wants her to cheer for him AND the school all points to Tennessee.

But the talk about how he wants it to be HIS decision and wants to play where hes comfortable points to the Barn.

Totally up in the air, im more confused after that video than I was before.
