If he does pick Tennessee I hope that he's ready to move past his me time.

I much prefer the way Dawson and Jernigan have handled themselves. For what its worth, those 2 guys exemplify what Dooley is looking for in presenting the program with integrity and class.

Agreed. But this video showed a much better side of Wright. That Wright could do well at Tennessee; the one that wants to take Fairley's place, not so much.

My biggest fear is, if he doesn't really want to come here, will he be another Bryce Brown or David Oku? Or will he be a Da'Rick Rogers, who plays the recruiting game but ends up All Vol.

Except... Fairley on any other team would have been ejected from games and/or suspended. Lots of looking the other way to keep those NC dreams alive.

That literally has nothing to do with what I said. The guy said he could be John Henderson at UT, or Nick Fairley at Auburn. Fairley played hard for one year and is going to be a top two pick. That is the point.

Okay. And my point is literally this: if Wright wants to be Nick Fairley, he will go to Auburn. And he should.

I'm sitting in the Auburn library right now and the guys on either side of me are reading an article about GW and watching a video of his highlights. I love this time of year.

Still say he's a Vol on NSD.

If any of y'all happen to be in my neck of the woods Wednesday morning, I'll be hunkered down in a bar watching ESPNu from about 9-1 and I'd love some pro UT company :loco:

Yawn. Terrible post. It's not the kid. It is the media hounding him 24/7 day in and day out. If you are expecting every 17 and 18 year old to react the exact same way in a mature adult-like manner then are you just being totally naive. Give the kid a break and let him enjoy his day in the sun.

I would if i was in that area. I'm gonna do the exact same thing here in Augusta, Ga. (Dawg country). Got a couple Clemson friends and one of the few really cool UGA fans I have ever met coming with. Lotsa fun every year.
