The Bama thing is possible simply because as much as the guys been playing the game hes obviously just a drama queen looking for attention. I do find it very strange that he'd end all the games 3 days before NSD and all but say Auburn was his team all along. Its possible hes making it seem like the barn now so he can shock everyone on Wednesday. The part that concerns me as far as GW to UT is coach CCS thinking GWs been lying to him all along. I wonder though would it not help UT hold Carson, secure Jernigan if GW was thought to be signing with the barn and then signed with UT?

Easiest thing to do at this point is to expect him to sign with the barn and be surprised if he does otherwise.

How will you know if/when Dooley is notified?


Something in your tone tells me that Dooley must be your direct source for recruiting info. Am I right? Completely understand if you can't confirm this, but that's what it seems like.

What on earth are you talking about?? All I was saying is that Dooley is the person these people need to notify, not Smith, if this is the case.

Here's what I know....

Gabe telling current commits and players that he will be a Vol.
Gabe telling coaches that he will be a Vol.
Gabe's family loves CDD, CCS, and the Vol 4 Life program.

That's what I know, that's all I got.

Why in the world would Wright go to Bama? He's 290. He's a 4-3 DT, not a NT. And he's not going to play a 3-4 end. It's the Barn or the Vols.

How do you know all this for sure? What I'm hearing he is telling Auburn coaches same thing.

I know for a fact that he has told a current AU player that he will be Barner as well.

I'll put it to you like this, wherever the kid chooses, he's going to have a bulls-eye on him because of his recruitment. Sometimes kids have too much fun.

How do we know that he has told anyone anything. I love some of the info I get here but at the same time I have not heard one reporter say he has silently committed anywhere. All these people with sources are getting old. I hope this kid has not been lying to anyone if he picks us. Sure does not sound like someone you want representing the vfl program.

There is obviously smoke at both places, and it's pretty obvious that Gabe wants it like that to create drama. Now, if he has made all these promises to both sides, kid will be a target for either team when we play Auburn, no matter what sideline he is on. Sometimes, kids don't think things through they say, this is one of those times.

Exactly. Arnett had fun with his videos, etc. but didn't flat out lie to numerous people during the process. Have fun but show some class and character. It doesn't appear Wright is showing either right now.

Yeah. But you would think CCS would be in this kids a** and letting him know if you are a VOL you had better act like one or your scholly will be gone. I know he is a kid but it is an adults job to mentor and hold accountability. What does it show if we let him have these character issues from the get go. I dont know it just does not seem like something this staff will stand for.

Oops. Sucks recruiting against the NC's and likely if not already know cheaters. Won't be sad day when Auburn gets busted. They and Bama are like cheating cyclones, once one quiets down the other spins up.
