I hear the Georgia posters were highly rated posters, but after committing their fanhood and posting to being a Dawg, their post have underachieved.

I've been out of the Gabe Wright loop for some time, and I just read the last twelve pages in this thread. Observations:

1) Gabe Wright showed up at Auburn's celebration even after telling Brent Hubbs that he wasn't going to be there. I am disappointed that he would tell a bold-faced lie like that, but I'm not surprised he would do it. We've already established that (a) it is a two-team race between us and the Aubies, (b) Gabe is playing both schools, and (c) he will continue to do so until he signs on the dotted line. Only then will we rest easy, regardless of where he goes. He's just a kid. Let him have his fun; but understand that he can't keep this charade up forever. He has to sign with SOMEONE.

2) Anyone getting mad over this needs to stop following recruiting for the reasons stated above.

3) It seems that some of us will only be satisfied if we hear good news. We are going to have letdowns. If we hear bad news, there will suddenly be a Code Red on this board and bedlam will ensue. This, then, would be telling of the level of patience of most on this board, which is so low, it is almost sad and frustrating. In the case of Gabe, this guy totally has Tennessee and Auburn at his mercy psychologically, and everything that is done or said between now and Wednesday should be taken with a grain of salt. I can't say that enough. Remember, he's just a kid.

Excellent post. Speaking the truth.

You guys most definitely want Wright. This guy has gotten better every year.

Don't let the actions of this recruiting game fool you about Wright. Gabe is actually a very good kid on and off the field, you will not have anything to worry about on that end IMO. What makes Gabe so good is that he's a VERY coachable kid. He responds well to good coaching and is a hard working blue-collar type of player. I have followed this kid since he was in 10th grade and I can honestly say that he has gotten better every year.

Gabe should be a HUGE priority for you guys. AU gets him in the end, that's my best guess right now.

Agree. They're 17 and 18 year old kids.

It's nice when someone can use proper punctuation and grammar on VN Mobile. Bosgap - you reading this?

Put yourself in these kids position, the media doesn't have a dead or quite period. It would get old real fast!
