Would be awsome to see jernigan at end and wright at tackle. Hubbs said jernigans offer was to play either end or tackle and I'd be happy with either choice he makes but him at end would be big. smith at end and couch and Jackson at tackle and jernigan t the other end with wright rotating in would give us alot of flexibility with what we could run from the d-line

The fact that Hymans tweeted that GW will sign with us, makes me almost at the point where I'm just through with this thread. I just really want us to out-recruit Trooper and the cheaters here.

Listen here's what is going to happen with GW:

He will say that he loved his visit to Auburn. He will say that he's been there a bunch of times and loves it in Auburn. He will say he feels very comfortable there and that the coaches and players feel like family.

Then he will say that Auburn and UT, or more likely Auburn, UT, and Bama are all pretty much even and it's going to be a hard choice.

Then he will stop talking to reporters until NSD, but continue to post stuff on Facebook and Twitter that will drive us all crazy. Rumors will abound, haters will hate.

Then he will sign with UT on Wednesday.

I love your optimism. Plus you're close to the situation so I know you're not blowing smoke. I'm gonna take your word for it and be ecstatic on Wednesday. :rock:

AR has been long considered UT bound and Gabe IMO is still AU bound. Its a stretch for sure but very much a possibility that AR is there to recruit Gabe to UT.

And you bagged on me for saying AR didn't want drew and Pagan at UT. I think DD has limited his recruiting to a VERY select few group of prospects for whatever reasons (I'm not claiming anything to do with tham not being less talented). He seems unwilling to waste resources on reaches or talented players that don't "fit" what he is trying to build. DD has a plan and does not seem willing to deviate from it. I'm just interested to see how that plan looks in 3 years.

It should, but someone close to the situation explained to me that the reason he was leaning away from Alabama is that he doesn't want to compete with his brother for the same position at Alabama. DJ Fluker will be starting at LT and Arie and Cyrus would be going head to head for RT. He expressed this to the coaches and they told him they would move Arie inside. When Arie heard about this, he wasn't happy.

Personally, I thought Cyrus would end up at Iowa after I heard that but he is liking what he is seeing this weekend.
