Guys, hes a Vol, just sit back and worry about another recruit, this one is locked up.

It was locked up long ago. Its the game and how hes playing it. He has his own motives on why hes playing it this way but hes a Vol and will be a terror along side Crouch in the future.

Wright is not locked up to anywhere. He has told people at both Auburn and Tennessee he is coming there, and AU will be freshest on his mind on NSD. I give Auburn the edge for that reason only, this "Vol lock" nonsense isn't accurate.

I don't think that it's a lock by any means. But I think he will be a Vol on NSD.

If playing time is important to him at all, then he has to be liking what he sees in Knoxville. This offense is going to be sick. Him and Couch can make a huge impact on the defensive side of the ball, and put this team in a position to be in the driver's seat in the East for the next few years.
Florida's down. Georgia's down, and USCjr in their best year ever with 5 losses. This division is ripe for the picking. He has a better shot at getting back to the SECC with the Vols than with the Barners.

I'm optimistic here. The staff has targeted the "champion" as O would say...which in Gabe's case is momma. Auburn has all the glam, bells, whistles & waving towels but they don't have what Dooley is selling. I think the VFL program & the structure of life outside of football that UT is offering will pay big dividends.

It's going to play out like Marlon Brown's recruitment did....there will be reports coming out constantly about where he's going/leaning....but no one will truly know until he signs. Hopefully it's not UGA this time....:)

What makes you think he can't get playing time at Auburn? Fairly just left for the NFL that leaves the DT position wide open for them as well. As to the talk about his family, he was quoted as saying that they play 35% in his decision. So if the kid likes Auburn, that's where he's going to go. I'm not going to get my hopes up on this kid.

Get ready, Gabe's announcement will be the biggest shocker of them all. Everybody will fall out of their chairs when you see him put on the UGA hat on NSD!!!

Yeah right, not gonna happen. I predicted and still believe he will head to AU. UT has shook things up but I still stand by that prediction. We should know alot more after his visit to AU.

Speaking of Marlon Brown, is there a thread for him. I'd be curious to look at it.

+1. I also think he realizes that Auburn got where they are, not because they are just loaded with talent from top to bottom. They were VERY fortunate to purchase the services of an NFL caliber QB that has very rare and freakish skills.

Without Cam Newton, Bama or LSU wins the SEC West. It will be that way next year as well. Plus you have the specter of NCAA investigation still hanging over Auburn and won't be leaving anytime soon. When the FBI joins in the investigation it's no trivial matter. I think that is one of the reasons his Momma's in our corner. Go Momma Wright! :rock:
