What makes you think he can't get playing time at Auburn? Fairly just left for the NFL that leaves the DT position wide open for them as well. As to the talk about his family, he was quoted as saying that they play 35% in his decision. So if the kid likes Auburn, that's where he's going to go. I'm not going to get my hopes up on this kid.
The Vols DL situation is about as open as it gets. You don't get to the NC without depth, and that means guys in front of him next year, regardless of Fairley's leaving.

It's also one thing to have the prospect of early playing time for a school that is down and little prospect of them rising out of the doldrums. It's another to fill a major need on a team that is otherwise poised to make some noise the next few seasons.

We hit a home run with Bray, Hunter, and Rodger's. One or two more at DT and we are back in the hunt.

Wright is not locked up to anywhere. He has told people at both Auburn and Tennessee he is coming there, and AU will be freshest on his mind on NSD. I give Auburn the edge for that reason only, this "Vol lock" nonsense isn't accurate.

our only chance, IMO, is if he doesn't make Auburn visit. he takes visit, he goes to Auburn.

Gabe has been a silent to us for a few months now, only problem is many believe hes a silent to au as well. he reaffirmed he wanted to be a vol over the weekend, had pretty much his entire family in knox with him. like ive said all along, i dont trust him at this point and will not believe til we see the signed papers on nsd.

We are more than one or two DTs away lol

+1. People of both sides seem certain they got him as a silent. Hubbs is still saying Auburn. I think Larry's right unless he skips the Barn visit, we're on the outside looking in.

Those papers are going to Knoxville. Hes not the only one who committed to UT a few months ago and will make it happen.

This! This is what I have thought for a while now, glad you posted this skeeter. GBO:good!:

I'm pumped to see what Brown will do next year. Many of us believe that our QB's always looked to AJ first, can't really blame them. Brown will definitely get the opportunity to be the man next year.

Should have been a RS last year. Just about errbody knew he wouldn't be ready as a frosh.

I believe that as well. The kid has tons of potential though. I know our staff caught alot of he!! for redshirting Knowshon, so they probably did not want to take that chance with Brown.
