I think I just vomited in my mouth a little in reading that. I couldn't give a damn less if all of our SEC brethren had problems. If Auburn wants to bring in that walking STD when their program is already under NCAA scrutiny more power to them.

The only other time I really root for other SEC teams is in bowl games. I just want the SEC reputation to stay at the top. I could care less if they have recruiting violations and crazy coaches.

I've come to disagree here.... I never root for our rivals under any circumstance. I wish they could lose every game

I agree with both of you... I route for the SEC, as it makes Tennessee look better when the SEC does well, unless it is Florida, Bama, or UGA.

Orgeron to Auburn is not happening anyway. The last thing Auburn needs is another shady recruiter.

Sure doesn't help your cause or raise your profile when you're beating up on a bunch of down teams. i.e. why 1 loss Pac-10 and Big 10 teams are pretty much eliminated from the BCSNCG while the SEC is still a shoe-in.

Let me get this straight - y'all are trashing this kid in part because of what "Skeeter" represents as the thoughts of the coaching staff??? If in fact Skeeter has any official connection whatsoever with the athletic department, then his/her posts regarding recruits prior to NSD constitutes yet another clear NCAA infraction. Potential recruits (and perhaps more importantly, their parents) read these boards - I can assure you that they are not attracted to UT by "fans" that insist upon trashing any kid who chooses another school. Please leave these high school kids alone and be happy with what we did get.

I had to open this thread because I was curious why it keeps popping up to the top when this kids has already chosen what school he wanted to go to. I was shocked to see all the whiny little girls still griping about a recruit that chose another school. There are things like this that happen every year and a lot VNers get their hopes up to much and then the crash and burn when the recruit choses a school other than UT. No one is a definite lock no matter what the "insiders" say until the ink is on the LOI. People need to grow up and move on and look forward to the new recruiting year.

I think CDD and staff knew GW and LD were going elsewhere. He stated in his PC that he kept waiting for something bad to happen and it never did on NSD. I would think either one of those would have been "a bad thing" had they been considered a Vol per our staff. I know alot of these kids play the game...but if I were a coach and a kid DID ever lie to me right up until NSD and then flip without letting me know..I would make it public. I would make sure the whole country knew about the kid's lack of respect. JMO anyways...Go Vols

I agree with this. Whenever I watch an SEC game that doesn't involve UT I'm wishing that there was some way both teams could get an L. The SEC chest beaters have gotten a little old.
