All the kidding and verbal jabbing aside, the main issue with Gabe Wright is NOT his choice of school. The issue has always been with his actions leading up to that choice..

Not sure why you keep trying to bring it back to this..
My point is, if he had chosen UT, nobody would be calling the kid trash. He told both sides that he was committed to them and while that is a character issue, if he had picked up an orange hat, it wouldn't have been an issue. People are talking abou the kid like he beats children and rapes women. He handled the situation in a bad, bad way, but at the very worst, he is indecisive.

Is abusing children and raping women the only character malfunctions that are worthy of being called trash behavior? PS: If you will keep it civil I will

Skeeter said that because the coaches thought Wright and Dawson were in the bag (thanks to their lying up to the last minute) given the numbers, that they didn't have room for Mackey. So in essence thanks to these punks or the scumbags directing them. They cost us a recruit. So much for this "They are just having fun and not hurting anybody" bullcrap. Like I said in a earlier post in this thread, I cant wait to see this pos get his arse flattened when we play them in a couple of years.

Once again in case you missed it. This is why we think what Wright did goes beyond simply signing with AU.

Wrong and I called him a tool not trash.

He told both sides that he was committed to them and while that is a character issue,..

Now see, we agree here...

No there not.. Come on..

He handled the situation in a bad, bad way, but at the very worst, he is indecisive.

Here we go agreeing again except about the definition of indecisive..

Having a hard time picking out a tie is being "indecisive", not handling "the situation in a bad, bad way".

Maybe on some of this we're not as far apart as you think.. We just got started off all wrong.. :hi:

Okay I think we all need to take a step back and realize we are dealing with a kid who was under a great deal of pressure. We can not judge him on the same level we judge ourselves. We don't know all the circumstances and getting upset because we did not get our way... is pointless, and accomplishes nothing. I wish nothing but the best for Gabe Wright... Dooley's staff still put together an amazing class...imo

Ogre to Auburn would be great. Recruit against Bama for long enough for us to come back. Meanwhile USC crumbles and Auburn has recruiting violations out the ass in 5 years.

I bet Saban would hate to see the ragin cajun in the state of Alabama.

Not really a concern. Just another Trooper who recruits the player without ever talking to the family. It did not work for them with Calloway or Cyrus. They get G Robinson that way but not the NCAA is investigating that.

It will only cost them more in the end. They need to change their motto on the plains. Instead of we are family, it should read no families allowed.

REALLY?!!? Come on...where's everyone's mindset??? I do not care if it's Auburn OR ??? This IS the SEC...college football's greatest conference/stage. Do we (SEC brethren...family) really want the luggage...the problem back in the SEC AND the bad pub that we ALL know is coming if Orgeron returns?? I say, nay, leave well enough alone.
