11 FL OL Marcus Jackson (UT commit)

so decorating a cake with school colors and logo and giving it to a recruit obviously is not the same as giving a recruit a jersey, as far as violations? i thought you couldnt give recruits any gifts. if you can do this, is a pretty good idea.

Miami guys are saying things went well for them and Marcus. we all just have to stay tuned for the All star game

to piggyback jay

this is golden's first commit to miami.

* Pierre shared his thoughts on his fellow visitors:

Of Louis-Jean, he said, "I talked to him. I think he'll wind up with me here."

Of Jackson, he said, "He had a ball on the visit. I think he might go here also."

The thing with a silent commit is it is easy to break because it's not public. Marcus can re-commit to Miami with virtually no backlash and you know Miami is in his ear about it. "I looked around but Miami is the only place that ever really felt right."

I hope we don't get this treatment.

do we really need 5 o linemen in this class anyway? he would be a great player here i am sure but IF he does not choose us i do not think it is a backbreaking loss JMO

A former Cane commitment who opened things up after Randy Shannon was fired, Jackson now says he'll announce his decision at the Under Armour All-American game, which will be played in St. Petersburg Jan. 5 and televised on ESPN starting at 7 p.m.

"Right now it's Michigan State, Tennessee or Miami, not in any order," Jackson said.

This^^. Four is surely enough considering the o-line we have are going to be good and are still very young. Lets get an extra LB or something. Hell we should sign 5 of those IMO.
