If he actually shows up this weekend like he's planning, then yes, I would say that is a great sign for the Vols. Man he'd be a huge pickup.

I didnt realize it but ESPN has this guy ranked the #6 OG and #87 overall prospect in the nation. Pretty impressive

His offer list would go right along with a ranking like that. I can't believe where Rivals has the kid rated. It's laughable. The big 3 in Florida all offered him and were all over this kid.

Rivals rankings of Florida prospects has been awful this year.

Not only that they have the #1 player in the state of Georgia as a 3* WTF!

You should look at the offer lists of some of the guards Rivals has rated ahead of Marcus. It's unbelievable. Hardly any have a comparable offer list to his and some of them don't even have a single elite offer. They have definitely botched the Florida rankings this year in a big way.

The question I have is do you not think they realize this? I feel like they are being stubborn and don't want to adjust their rankings because it would make them look like they were originally "wrong" or something.

they will likely adjust rankings at least 2 more times before signing day, perhaps more. the major adjustments they make are from now to signing day. its worked that way as long as they have been around...

I kept up with it last year from the initial release they did. 8 times they adjusted rankings. Many players moved positions from what was initially released as well as many ups and downs.
