100 times better

Excuse me if it's not the exact wording but I'm going to go with a quote/paraphrase, "You are what your record says you are." If this Tennessee team is 100x better, the end of the year results should indicate it. Still plenty of games to be played, but so far not looking too good.

Does anyone deny that we would be 3-1 with at least average QB play?
Pruitt knew the QB situation going into this season and refused to go get a grad transfer, sorry but thats on him. He's not a CEO type and has no business leading or managing a program. He's a yes man, not a leader

Nah. I like it here. I gave the "coach" a year and a half to prove my initial impression wrong. He didn't, so I'm back.
You're just a vulture trying to get together a lynch mob. The worst part of our fan base are people like you. Spoiled children that didn't get what they wanted so let's pitch a fit and get others to as well. Pathetic

First, he did get a grad transfer. Second, if you've heard anything from anyone that's seen practice you would know that JG looked great. Not just better, but great. They were expecting big time stuff from him. They have been baffled by his play on the field vs what they've seen in practice. Look, I'm not defending anyone but you should consider all the facts and situations.

Yeah...thats it.

Since I am a "vulture", that lives in a hole, and the worst part of our fanbase....I will simply suggest you ignore me and have a blessed day!

2-2 I think. The coaches didn't prepare for the game. I doubt average QB play would overcome that dereliction of duty.

That game I just don't understand. The only thing I can think of is 1) they looked past them, 2) Bituli got hurt right before and he was depended on to call the defense and 3) JG didn't live up to everyone's expectations. You could have the worse coaches in college football and I wouldn't have expected us to lose that game. They can obviously coach, they've all been way above average. The showed it last year vs Auburn, KY and SC. Do you put that much into the culture? I have no clue. You have to wonder what in the world has happened and is happening. The talent is way better so the coaches are developing. The coaches are making great calls. ????????

This excuse for a thread is. It doesn’t help anything. We are where we are and at least we have a real coach who can recruit this time. Go listen to crouch’s interview. These young kids know what they have to do.

So now the existence of this thread is contributing to the on-field dabacle we see every Saturday? Do elaborate.

Different perspectives I suspect. Fans see the record and the short term. Pruitt probably sees us bigger, stronger and we have more talented players scattered through the lineup. It's progress in his mind. That talent is young and going through a learning process. This is unavoidable and not without pain. Still, it's all part of the progression. Again, I'm sure he's as upset at the results as we are, but until we get a QB, it's going to be a rough go.

That is the single biggest issue I have with CJP. Before the year I expected BYU to be a close game. We approached GA State like it was a scrimmage. Complete lack of leadership on his part.
