If were so much better how come on so many plays defense is lining up wrong. How come we let a guy play QB that over threw a 10 yards pass to a guy wide open. How come we are consistently getting penalties and making mistakes. Really hate coaches that hype when they are playing terrible or make excuses when there is no excuse that can be accepted for what were witnessing on the field. Pruitt is gonna get more time this year and most of next depending on what happens in that season. I don't see it coming together hopefully I'm wrong. To many returnees from last season and most seem worse than they were last season.

This. I think I get what CJP is saying... most of the team is better. LBs, DL, OL, TE, WR... all better. The foundation on which the program is being built is better (physicality and LOS play). So if you look at the big picture, we’re in a much better position.

However, the QB position carries so much weight that it has brought the whole team down and messed up the results. Get that fixed and I think we’re good.

That isn’t an excuse for Pruitt, as managing QB play should be his top priority and ultimately our lack of a good QB is his fault, but I think he’s just saying overall we’re in a much better position and I agree with that.

Just pass defense. Our run defense is solid. Not great but solid. Certainly much better than most thought it’d be after replacing 4 guys.

Besides our record, I agree with Pruitt. I think we’re better. I know it doesn’t look like it, but our 4 games we have been showing more toughness, and have improved.

No doubt. GST had only 65 scholarship players, and none were 3 star or above, but yeah, 100% better.
