This guy can really be something. He does remind me of Aaron Rodgers, how he plays and runs. Arm Strength can be worked on in the weight room, and tweaking mechanics, but his accuracy is greatness.

yeah i agree its more side armish, but that doesnt bother me any because when you throw a deep ball it is going out of your hand high, so it wont get batted down by any linemen.

Andrew Manley, out of Hawaii...who was at the Super 7 camp with Blake Bell, Rettig, Montana, etc...is a decent fall back option. Kid has a gun and throws a nice tight spiral:

Manley has been beat out without question at the camp he was at with Grayson. According to the stuff I read he has Accuracy issues and has a long delivery. I am not saying I am saying this just saying what the "experts" are saying. He does throw a mean fastball it is no good if it is not on target though. And he is slow or so I have heard. So IDK. I know Grayson expects to be on an SEC team and Manley is hoping he gets an offer from Wyoming. I like his arm though. I just don't know if we want a guy who cannot move with our Oline issues. He also did not mention us.

That I really like this kid. And I am entirely bias at this point. I think he is a good guy to lock up and he wont scare away a guy in 2011. I have watched Baty and Manley and Mason. And really it is all just taste to some degree. But this kid is the best Athlete/Qb on the board. And he evidently has a 4.0 and 30 ACT. He is the bomb. He is not as developed as Scroggins but no one is other then Heaps.

Grayson and Baty wouldn't be bad...considering Baty will be leading one of the top HS's in the country, St. Thomas Aquinas...where Palardy, Riggs and others play.

That would greatly help establish a pipeline down there.
And Baty's numbers are likely going to be through the roof, since that is a really good school and a high scoring squad

Thats great except we might need him to play. And his numbers are going to be big even if he is average.

Grayson has earned his numbers. I do think Baty really helps but he is almost a Wake lock from some stuff I read. He really liked them. We will have to invest a bunch of time to get him.

We offer Grayson tomorrow and he is a Vol.

Offer Grayson tomorrow? Doubtful. It's time you start calling/emailing the coaching staff because you might be losing another QB prospect...one that actually WANTS to play in front of 109,000 crazy Southerners and NOT using your beloved program as LEVERAGE for more offers. Compared to Louisville, his visit to Knoxville was far from stellar. You've already lost Rettig because the UT staff showed little interest. You can put all your eggs in the Scroggins basket, but he'll most likely stay on the West Coast. USC? Probably.

Seen him a few games last year nice arm can scramble pretty accurate has potential to be special
