'10 SC DE Brandon Willis

2 studmuffins D-line commitments at the same time, and the #1 player in Oklahoma. All in the same day !.
hellz yess !!

When you add J. Smith, JC Copeland, and Bruce Irvin, this defense is going to be scary (Friday the 13th style) good!

The Gators talk about being afraid, very afraid...well, with a defense like this, it's them who ought to worry.

There are really two reat things that came out of the Miller and Willis commit.
1. 2 Stud defensive players.
2. The prospect of actually getting to keep Delvin Jones on the offensive side of the ball. The guy could be a freak at TE.

So now we got:

Risean Broussard 3* DT
John Brown 4* DT
J.C. Copeland 4* DE
Pat Harris 3* DT
Jacques Smith 4* DE
Brandon Willis 4* DE
Corey Miller 4* De

Along with:
Willie Bohannon ( FR ) DE
Steven Fowlkes ( FR ) DE
Arthur Jeffery ( FR ) DT
Chase Nelson ( JR ) DT
Rae Sykes ( So ) DE
Victor Thomas ( JR ) DT
Marlon Walls ( FR ) DT
Chris Walker ( JR ) DE

How many DL do we need? Lol
So who do we end up keeping & who do we lose in this class?

You cannot have too many defensive linemen. Especially in the SEC.

Our DL depth is about to be crazy. We need 1 more DT imo. Kelcy Quarles would be nice :)

I have a good feeling that we get Quarles. I also think in that scenario we move Pat Harris to O-line. He might be able to contribute immediately there and allow the stud freshman their chance to compete.

"It was a real good game," said Brandon Willis. "We are only a quarterback away from being a great team. Our defense played really good in the game. Everyone thought it was going to be a blowout."

"Our defense did a really great job of shutting Florida down and holding them to that many points. Our defense is just really good. It excites me. We will see Florida next year."

"I talked to them right when they were getting off the plane last week," he said. "I spoke to Coach 'O' and Coach Reaves. They were just telling me they were about to go do their thing. They were making sure I was going to watch the game. I told them I would definitely be watching, and that I was coming back to Knoxville this weekend."

Per Scout...

Would this guy make an immediate impact? With walker, williams, and martin returning I don't know. The only spot I could think of would be the de/dt hybrid if he's around 275.

I don't know about making an immediate impact, but he will have a chance to. He most likely will be moved to the 3 technique DT. With Wes Brown graduating, that spot is going to be open for someone. John Brown, Harris, Walls, Sykes, Thomas, Willis, and Copeland will all be in the running for that spot...

If he's physically ready, he'll contribute.

There's a ton of value in rotating fresh bodies on the defensive line.

Sounds pretty solid to me... like he's already a part of the team
