'10 IL WR Kyle Prater

From a Kenny Stills article-

"Then this week after Robert Woods committed, I talked to the coaches and they said they didn't have room for me. They're supposed to be getting Kyle Prater and they just wanted to take two receivers in this class. They told me they have enough guys at my position and were going in a different direction."

Yeah I don't think that would be a shocker for anyone at this point. It sucks but I think he is all USC.

honestly guys...i look at prater and i believe he is an amazing athlete. However, I lookt delvin jones's face and am scared to death. 6'6"...230...and if we keep his speed and 10 lbs. to his frame there isn't a db in the nation that could guard that...well EB of course.

Delvin will not play WR in college. He has big play TE written all over him.

Delvin won't play receiver. The only time he will be split out wide is at TE. There's a very good chance he plays DE, though.

Kyle Prater just returned from a great west coast visit to USC, and has set the date he'll be announcing his final decision, he told Sporting News. The Proviso West (Hillside, Ill.) WR told SN two weeks ago that his finalists are USC, Illinois, Notre Dame, Tennessee, Alabama and Oklahoma.

"I'll be announcing my school on the 2nd of September," Prater told SN. "I'm not burned out or anything. I'm just going to sit down with my coach, now that I'm back from SC. I'm going to go over everything and see what's best for me."

As a junior, Prater caught 60 passes for 948 yards and nine touchdowns. He is a member of the Sporting News Top 100 for the class of 2010.

Prater described what he thinks he'll bring to the next level of football.

"I bring playmaking ability; size, speed, quickness--everything," Prater told SN. "My work ethic is a big thing. I work hard to get better to beat the next man. I'll be working on my routes (before college), and everything, really. I'll be working on everything."
