Not to downplay his visit or anything, but he has stated that he will take 4 to 5 official visits this fall. Also some of those visits are to schools he hasn't been to yet. Yes he probably is excited from the visit but most are. After every recruiting weekend at Auburn this summer they are getting the top prospects, but than the kid gets home and things change. I am not saying he will not be a Vol, but remember those interviews by each schools sites are very slanted. The ask specific questions to get guaranteed answers they need to write the article and get readers interested. Again I am sure he is impressed with UT, but saying their offense is so fluid and that this staff gets players into the NFL I find hard to believe when they haven't coached a game at all for UT. Also remember if he does take all his visits like he has stated there will be 2 to 3 more after his visit to UT. I think the season will play a big role for UT and this kid.
The interviews are slanted no doubt, I am not saying we are gaunreteed or anything but I do think we have a good shot considering all the talk about his dad and to a lesser extent his friendship with other commited players. Has he stated any other official visits I am unaware of? or can you find an interview where he said he wanted to take all of them? I haven't seen either so I am just trying to find a basis to what your saying that I don't have access to.
And we all know how much Daddy has an effect on things, dont we young Jesse?
"Highly-coveted pass-catcher Kyle Prater (Hillside, Ill./Proviso West) informed ESPN affiliate Web site IrishSportsDaily.com that he has made another cut amongst his list of suitors.
Additionally, Prater plans on taking all five allotted official visits before announcing his decision.
Last fall, he caught 60 passes for 948 yards (15.8 average) and nine touchdowns."
As of July 24th, 2009. Understand he is making other visits this summer still.
It was a great trip. The coaches were really great there, they standout the most about the trip.
He can't make it for the UCLA game, but will come for the next home game which is Ohio, hopefully he waits another week and comes for Auburn.
