'10 IL WR Kyle Prater

Scroggins please commit to us. That will help us out tremedously. And Fulton being in his ear too. lol

4000!!!!!!!!

Notre Dame will only be a player for Prater in the end if Cooper decides to go to ND. They are best friends, and would like to play at the same school if the opportunity arises. Its Illinois/Oklahoma, with UT, and USC with a bit of ground to cover.

Basically from what I understand

If Illinois has a solid season, he's going there.
If Illinois sucks or OU does as well as expected, he's going there.
By some freak incident, he may end up here/USC/ND.

I think that basically sums him up.

So you think Fulton really won't make a difference?

And my belief is that if we don't land Scroggins we have absolute no chance with him, do you agree?

It's still earlier, I think he comes for an official.Once he sees the campus, he'll realize no other school he's seen or staff compares.

I don't really think Fulton will make that much of a difference. Maybe a bit, but not as much as some people were making it out to be now that I look back on it. Especially when it comes down to either a much much more talented team with a top QB recruit or the hometown team.

And if we miss Scroggins, that hurts our search for pretty much every WR. Rettig/Grayson just doesn't carry the same weight yet. It may after the season though, but who knows what'll happen.

Do you think our shot with Ambles is out the window without Scroggins also?

I'm not sure Ambles would be completely out the window. If he doesn't commit to Florida soon, they're going to fill up on commits, and his baggage pretty much means no major school will come get him. I still think we could pull him with Rettig, but it won't be as clear as with Scroggins.

I doubt that. On the offensive side of the ball, OU has as good as a staff as almost anyone. Kevin Wilson is pretty easily a top 5 OC. Norvell is a pretty great WR coach. They'll always have a good QB with Heupel coaching them. Patton has turned that offensive line into an animal.

I know this is the wrong thread but what exactly has Ambles done in the past? I keep reading about his "baggage" but I've never know what it was exactly

He was expelled from his first high school and all I can find is that he has a bad attitude.
Lots of other rumors are floating around about Ambles but I dont wana throw the kid under the bus until I know theyre true

No one really knows. Whatever it was, it was enough for UGA to never offer him, USC to pull their offer, and have his offer for the All American game pulled.

"The thing that's making people back off of Markeith is his attitude. USC rescinded their offer b/c when he came there, they told him to take his hoodie off and pull his pants up and he refused. During spring practice at Henry County, he was in full pads on his cell phone. His coaches told him he didn't have to be there if he didn't want. He proceeded to tell the coaches to give him the locker room keys. These are just the recent transgressions. I've seen Markeith shut down by younger talent several times. I believe all of this is starting to catch up to him."

"Also, when at the UT camp, one of the other recruits there asked Markeith if he would go to UT. His reply, "**** no. I don't wear Adidas." I hate UT as much as the next guy but it's disrepectful to say something like that loud enough for several of their coaches to hear." From the roundtable.

from another football forum...could be true, could not be true...sounds sketch nonetheless

I saw the same post, but I've gotta call BS on that due to the fact he's wearing a bigass Adidas hoodie in one of his Rivals or Scout pics.

yea i just noticed that later as i was reading...hmph, im just curious why his AA game offer was taken away if thats all we can get out of the guy is a few attitude problems??

ha yea i just read it over on some uga forums...thought it was interesting, but you cant believe nothing on the internet these days, haha..id rather have prater still

Definitely, Prater is a superb receiver and perfect for what I believe Kiffins Offense will be like
