lol funny you ask. The guy i know that plays ball with him was just here at the house and told him i was talking about him and said "oh man they know who i am in albertville" lol
He said he really likes tennessee and has them out front as of right now. But he could have told him that just to make happy.
Off the subject but same guy played with kirkpatrick (spell)? and said julio laid him out the other day in practice lol

Has anyone painted the rock for this guy? The rock is a huge tool and if we don't use it that's a shame I woukd do it but I'm in the ATL.

We should hear a report on it by daybreak...FoCo's on the job supposedly. Hope he and his crew come through. If we can land Prater and Milton, I'll totally forget about us losing out on M.Brown

His recent comments about money and white folks already have me forgetting about it. Looks to me more like we dodged a landmine rather than losing out.

We would have never pursued him anywhere near as hard as we did if he hadn't been from TN...

If he weren't the #1 prospect in the state we would have had less interest in him than Jeffrey or Kelly IMO

Actually - no - it was his facebook page it was confirmed by VSPN if you want to go read the thread in the NCAA forum. They deleted his account too.

Now... could some opposing school fan have gotten on his facebook if he left it open? Sure - but that's very, very unlikely - and if that were the case they more than likely would have updated Marlon's status to say something along those lines - not go comment on Justin Maclin's status which was conveniently talking about that subject (perfect timing by a fan huh? yeah right) - who is a friend of his from Memphis.. he was likely stoned or drunk or he's just stupid - Georgia was just trying to cover it up.

Nothing will ever come of it - but it stinkin' hilarious.

Watched this kids film for the first time. Great ups and very good speed for a guy as large as he is. Makes some great cuts and an awesome spin move on one play. I sure hope he follows through with a visit sometime later.

Actually, it was not his page. VSPN is mistaken. I talked to the kids coach the same day and he told me it was not his. Said that the other FB account with Harding Academy listed was his real one.

How could he be mistaken? He proved it was his account. Of course his coach is going to try to cover it up - why be that gullible and believe him?

VSPN interviewed him on his show around February and was facebook messaging him asking him questions about times and when it was OK for him. It was his facebook. So now - this imaginary Marlon Brown was messaging VSPN on facebook talking about interview times (and the interview conveniently happened shortly after the message posted) and giving out Marlon's cell phone number? Lol!

"The following snippet comes after trying to confirm he’s still on for the show on January 29th, which was just before his visit to Knoxville that weekend. This is the first evidence of any kind that this is Brown’s facebook account. Notice that there is no profile picture for “Marlon Brown” as the account has since been deleted. "

I'm not sure how you can really debate those pictures of the message between him and VSPN GoVols2003 - it's right in front of you. Coach is covering it up naturally since Marlon decided to be dumb unless I'm missing something very obvious here.

My apologies. Had not talked to the coach since the date all this happened. Just texted him and he said he was mistaken at the time. Thinks the other profile used to be his. He was not covering anything up.

Oh ok - but it is still up for debate whether or not he actually posted that stuff - someone COULD have gotten onto his account but it would have been very, very unlikely considering the circumstances imo.
