Sick speed. We really need that special WR that makes the plays. This kid has the physical tools to be that guy

So Prater was at Michigans BBQ recruitng party. They are taking a laid back approach to recruiting. Sounds like they are dong quite well gathering 11 recruits thus far.

He is expected to be at the NIKE Camp this Sat. In Champaigne, Ill and will not take any unofficial visits anytime soon

He has good speed for his size. Great hands, pretty good moves in open field. Also has top-notch athleticism. I think he'll be great with some added weight, which won't be a problem when he gets in a S&C program. Looks like he'll be good pickup for us if we get him.

So Michigan did the ole gathering thing like Auburn did. That's a good idea that I think more schools might start to borrow from.

Since it is an unofficial, do the kids have to pay for the hotdogs, or would it be a recruiting violation to give them a meal?

They've gotta pay. I'd be willing to bet that it was probably all you could eat for 5 bucks or something though.

Why in the world would a WR prospect want to play in Michigan's style of offense? In that system they are really nothing more than another offensive lineman.

“I just got a text from Kyle and he’s narrowed his list down,” O’Halloran said. “His top 10 in no particular order is Illinois, Oklahoma, USC, Michigan, Tennessee, Notre Dame, Alabama, Auburn, Missouri, and Miami.”

My wish list is Markeith A., Kyle Prater, and Jesse Scoggins they would all start right away, just think about that with Bryce B in the backfield and our D-fence........

When asked what schools will for sure get official visits, Prater quickly replied that USC, Oklahoma and Illinois will make his final five.

"I know USC, Oklahoma and Illinois will definitely be there," he said. "With SC, you just look at the guys they bring out every year. Just about every year, they're bringing out great receivers and just players overall in general. It's a good school overall.

Per Rivals... He completely dominated the Nike Camp in Illinois today... We have to get a QB to compete with Blake Bell at Oklahoma in order to get this guy...

Sroggins would help us here. He is a big name. A Qb will be the cornerstone of this class. When we get one, we will build off it.
