If anyone is going to pretend like they did not want michael taylor I am going to call them an idiot.
This sucks. Corey nelson and christian jones are a better lb class than ralph williams and michael taylor, but I do not want mt going to uf, and neither corey or christian are in yet

Listen, we all wanted him. But screw him if he wants to go somewhere else. We'll replace him. Its one person. But if all you NegaVols are :cray: about this then leave now.

All the other Lbs i can think of that we might be in for are either leaning or commited to another school.

If this is true the 2nd question would be, is he still visiting? If he still comes to UT this weekend there's a pretty good chance UT can get him back.

Someone fill me in - if he has stated or sources have stated that he doesn't think he has a commitable offer - then how would he have already committed to Florida until the dead period is over and he can find out from the UF coaches if it is commitable? Can he contact the coaches - but they can't contact him?

i saw on one of the three michael taylor threads that his coach stated he did indeed have a commitable offer.

Heck yeah I wanted this guy. This is the first one that pisses me off. I wouldn't be upset if UF was after him the whole time but the first time they coming sniffing around, he bails? We were with this kid from the beginning when UF didn't even know or care who he was.

Maybe Lane needs to have a nervous breakdown, quit then have a change of heart 24 hrs later?

Guys....this is recruiting...and this is a very common thing this time of year...

That's if this is even true...that source isn't exactly Rivals or Scout...

With or without Taylor we're going to have a top 5 class...and we're going to be fine at LB...in this class and classes to come...

If he indeed turned from us to UF that fast then it definitely seems like a shady move...it seems like he's been looking around since about 2 seconds after he was named MVP of the UA game...but good luck to him all the same...

He's no better or worse of a player after doing this (if true)...he's going to be awesome no matter where he goes

First of all, he did not decommit. Did anyone look at the source? I can make a site that looks more credible than that and put anything I want on it for you to read and spread rumors from. Also the title of the post on this BLOG even said the word rumor. Chill out.

If jones and shirley and nelson all come, ralph to ole miss and taylor to uf is fine with me.

It's too early in the game to worry over one recruit. This is the life of recruiting. You win some (JJ), you lose some (potentially MT). Be a leader not a follower. He'll be replaced, because we're still in the running for alot of talent and this is a big weekend for us coming up. It's not been confirmed yet, so no need to start bashing the guy because he wants to go elsewhere. We'll still be kicking arse and taken names next year with or without him.

i'll wait until we see independent confirmation. he's a good player and Florida needs help at linebacker. hope it wouldn't turn off Jordan Hicks from his unofficial visit this weekend.
