'10 GA OLB Michael Taylor

meltdown my ass. not even gonna care if he wants to play for those jack holes.

I was looking at some youtube Vol highlights with my 7 yr old last night. He loves sports and watching the Vols more than eating. He said to me "When I get to college, if I have to play football for the Gators, I'll quit." I've never been prouder. I hate Florida.

Wow....you sure like throwing around names of hot prospects that we are trailing for.

Hicks - Texas in the drivers seat. Our EE window is over.
C Jones - Please....a nole legacy pulling the trigger for UF?
Seantrel - Buckeye's to lose.
Scroggins - UF is a long way from So Cal.

OK - Hendrix and Coxson are good probabilities.

But we need LB's and this kid Taylor is a good one. A Taylor in the hand is worth a Hicks in the bush.

That's what she said.

From Kipp Adams here on the network:

2011 defensive back Ronnie Harris, a teammate of Atlanta (Ga.) Westlake linebacker Michael Taylor said that Taylor wants to decommitt from Tennessee, and commit to Florida, but he is unsure whether or not he has a committable offer from the Gators.

According to Harris, Taylor believes he will be getting a committable UF offer soon.

I have tried both Taylor and coach Minnis from Westlake, but haven't had any luck with either so far.

4:20 p.m. Update: Actually I did get coach Minnis. Taylor is a little on the quiet side right now. Taylor actually has a committable offer from Florida right now.

.

I guess this is UF's way of getting back at us from what happened on NSD.. however even if they'd pull Taylor were still up 2-1. (well that is if Nuke counts anymore...) anyway I hope this is not true we need LB's in this class!!!!!

There is nothing wrong with bush unless it is Reggie. He will get your program killed by the NCAA.

This one hurts because the only reason UF is on him is from his UA perfermance...

And my guess is that Taylor has always been a closet Gator fan and he loved his visit. New LB coach and DC have NFL LB experience so that is a plus too.

The stars seem to be aligned.

and he's getting his 4* and jumping up into Top 250 in the final rankings.

Why would Demar Dorsey go out and recruit for Florida the week leading up to the Under Armour game and then switch? The ONLY way he does switch is IF he can't get into UF.

Sh1tty trade! Dorsey won't make grades and he's in less of a position of need. If it weren't for the need of the position, losing Taylor would not hurt so badly. I'm not sold on Ralph Williams' abilities and not sure how realistic it is to beef up Loften, unless it takes 2-3 years. Ppl talk about how short Reviez is but you gotta realize, Reviez is the strongest LB to ever play for UT (at least, during the modern era of tracking weight lifting records). Basically, we're striking out big-time at LB if we don't get Nelson or Taylor. Trying to beef up a guy to LB is no guarantee and certainly not gonna help next season. Perhaps Swilling is legit...
