Count Tennessee in the mix for wideout Chris Dunkley now that the star receiver has transferred to Pahokee. Dunkley is very tight with former Pahokee star Nu'Keese Richardson, who signed with Tennessee in 2009. Despite Lane Kiffin's National Signing Day shot at the Pahokee coaches, apparently things have been smoothed over.

Not saying that you don't have a shot at Dunkley, but the idea that you have a better shot because he's going to Pahokee is ridiculous.

He was tight with Nuke before going to Pahokee, so that friendship was a pull regardless of whether Dunkley transferred there. Transferring to a school where Nuke is nowhere in sight (because he's at UT!) isn't going to tighten that bond.

If that bond is tight enough to draw Dunkley to UT, then that school transfer won't make any difference. He'd come anyway.

On the other hand, Dunkley will have that prima donna D'Joshua Johnson in his ear every day trying to push him to FSU. That could throw a wrinkle into his plans.

Sep. you make a valid point. I do think though it's a risk reward situation. By him going to pahokee, Tennessee, has a better chance at getting Johnson and Dunkley. But also there is a worse chance of us getting dunkley to begin with. Although, mark this down. If Nuke has a good to great year for us, we get one maybe both of those guys.

I wish Nuke the best, I really do. He went with his mind and didn't want to be the 2nd best reciever in our class, seriously. He should have a decent year for you this year. I think Johnson is FSU bound and Dunkley is UF bound, JMO. I think the foundation has been layed already for both players. However, the foundation was there for Nuke too, but after Debose committed to UF, he thought twice and I can't blame him for that. Dunkley will be watching Debose close this year at UF. If he has a decent year and plays a lot, I don't think Dunkley will come to UF.

the florida fans are trying to convince themselves that they lost nuke because of debose. because no one would possibly go to tennessee unless theyre scared of comepetition.

i say just leave them alone, maybe if they keep saying it, they will eventually believe it

We'll see how Dunkley feelsabout UT when his friend NuKeese is running punts and kick offs back for TDs. He'll definitely be at the UT/UF game this year.

And he'll also see Florida steamroll pretty much everyone in the way while we'll be lucky to win 8 games.

It's about enjoying your college years and fitting in where you're comfortable all the while competing at the highest level. We have more prospects interested in UT than probably the last 3 years combined.

That's pretty much what happened. Nuke wanted to be the guy and when DeBose committed he was a little thrown off by that. But I will say that Tennessee did a good job of getting him to actually switch. I think he would of ended up at a school like Miami or FSU if not for UT.

I don't know if thats true or anything, but having a top flight 5* guy who plays basically the same exact "role" as a player that you do could kinda turn you off from that school.

Why all these freaking gator fans on here, its gettin as bad as govolsxtra. I don't need some florida fan telling me our chances with a player. They said we could't draw Nuke, then once we did started jabbering about how they really didn't need him. BLA BLA BLA!!! Once Johnson and Dunkley sign I'm sure they'll say they didn't really want them either! When we whip that butt in Sept and all these recruits realize Techump and Cryer aren't going to be there the year after, they will go down like the Mempuss Tiggers or their B'Ball team.

hey gator boy!!:finger3: :Bbiteme:
