'10 FL OT Chaz Green

chaz you dont have to do what any one wants you to do ,just look at the big pitcher usc is going on probation ,want get much tv time ,and you,ll be playing for a jerk who might not be coaching by the end of the season or by the time their off probation, and the sec is the strongest conference in the country ,and about every game ut plays is on tv national regional espn, cbs and other places plus you would get imediat playing time at ut and possibly start by the midpoint of freshmen year, whereas at usc you probally get very limited pt the first year or two , by junior year you may be starting

Yeah it would really suck going into the draft when your school is on probation. No TV and announced at the draft and no one knows who you are,,,,nice go to SC

on rivals it says he has high interest in us with medium interest in Florida, USC, and OSU...

is this not updated, or do we actually have a pretty good shot at him?
i know most feel we probably dont have any shot, but im kinda hoping we do.

Hasn't been updated since Kiffin left. No chance.

3 days ago, the majority of people had completely written off Ambles...

get hiestand on him now...

Hopefully, they will get him on the phone, if not in the air imediately. It may be too little too late though. :ermm:

At this point, I would almost rather have Stone and Robinson anyway (but would love all 3). They've actually shown interest in coming to UT.

GO VOLS!!!!!!!

for UT! and not for some coach... whatever his name was? i cant think of it right now, but that other guy. help me out here, what was his name?

Prob too late with Chaz....I hope not, but the only thing we can hope for is that he delays his decision and our new OL coach has a chance to visit with him

Well i don't know what to think about this kid. Go out west play for a flake. Stay in Florida sit on the bench, probably sit on the bench at SC too. He'd play next year if he came here. I'd like to hear what Kiffin or Urban are selling this kid on. Hey Chaz, our benches have cushions and aren't as hard? Urban is flaky too and no way he stays at Florida much longer. Kiffin... i couldn't take anything he said seriously. Hot women or some money is what i'm guessing.

If this new OL coach is to visit with ANY of the recruits, he better have a jet waiting cause the dead or quiet period starts after this weekend. They can't be visited after Sunday. This per Doug Matthews this passed week on the radio. He was saying today that Ausmus was not given a contract because he was known to be a "Kiffin Man" or a "Orgeron Man", and was with him at USC previously.

I don't know where Doug would get that information or why he would say it. Aaron is from Tennessee, fought to get to Tennessee, and wanted to remain the S&C coach. He loves Tennessee. I don't know why some of the posters here want to make up false information and post on here.

I understand a lot of people are upset that Ausmus was not offered a contract. However, I think he was more committed to staying with Kiffin and Orgeron that he was to Tennessee. I think it was good riddance personally, let all the dirt bag Kiffin cronies go to USC. It was also noted that Coaches Thompson and Chaney did not see eye to eye with Kiffin and I do think they are very committed to Tennessee. Especially since Kiffin would not let Chaney call plays.

Also, I am sick of hearing Kiffin's name so much. He was a real tool who is very lucky to have a father who coached for many years in the NFL, because without that Lane the pain would be a no body. The way he left Tennessee along with Orgeron and Monte says a lot about their class. Lane is a joke and everyone knows Orgeron is a slime dog but most of all I lost a lot of respect for Monte. Any other father would have pulled their son aside after some of the things Lane did and inserted a boot in their ass.

Bottom line is the group that left including Monte was classless and definately lacked integrity. We now have a great coach and most importanting someone who has and understands values and integrity. So the hell with Lane the pain and the rest of the slime dogs. Go Big Orange.

Sorry to disappoint.....I just tell 'em like I hear 'em
