I think Luc has been a Vol for quite some time, and still very well may be, but FSU is coming in and making a very strong push IMO. He's surrounded by FSU fans and grew up a fan himself...that's something hard to overcome.

I think their staff is selling a freshly rejuvenated program to these kids; a chance to come in and be a part of something special....the same thing our own staff was doing a year ago.

ummm. i would concider our program a freshly rejuvinated one. only ours has one year of concrete for support where as fsu is trying to start running over a bridge that does not exist yet.

And people were saying the same exact things about our program a year ago:

"Why would anyone want to go there"?

"Lane Kiffin is a whiny prick who can't coach"!

"UT is a sinking ship of a program"!

Yet we managed to finish with a damn good recruiting class because our staff sold the idea of being a part of rejuvenating the program....and that is EXACTLY what the FSU coaches are doing right now. It's not a tough concept and one that is very appealing to some kids..especially ones that grew up a fan of the program.

We also hired a staff with lots of NFL ties...... not sure FSU can sell that. FSU may be pushing, but i still believe Luc is all Vol.....

There's not a whole lot of difference in UT's situation last year and FSU's this year...you guys can spin it however you want. We were still a 5-7 team..

I understand they don't have Monte or O, but they do have 1 key advantage: being an in-state school.

I find it sad that ya'll not only attack other people that come on here but your own fans when rational logic takes place. TheMayja...you are thinking clearly unlike a lot of people on here. The word is FSU will name their new DC by the end of next week. Ironically Jeff is taking his last visit to FSU within the next week. If UT fans on here want to keep thinking he's a lock than go right ahead, but with the recent lands, and James Coley visiting him this mornin I wouldnt be suprised if he jumps ship and ends up in tally....I am more worried as an FSU fan about ya'll and Christian Jones.

This saga has the potential to end a lot of credibility and hurt some egos. Nevertheless, here's hoping Luc is all vol. A Luc, Jones, Nelson LB corp could be absolutely epic.

Go to noleinsider or what ever it's called, quit talking crap on our board. And stop rooting for a school who's mascot is derogatory towards Native Americans.

Your new here and will find out some fans have blinders on...i am extremely worried about FSU...and agree with Mayja...

but word of advice...if you want to be treated any other way than you currently are...realize you are on a UT site and follow suite with respected "other team posters" such as tidewarrior....

even the most die-hard FSU hater knows that the Seminole tribe loves that they use them as their mascot.
