These clowns probably cost us Luc. Mama was worried about her baby boys safety in K-town and its his future teammates out committing crimes like this.:furious3::furious3::furious3:
Are you Haitian? If not then your stupid for speaking on values and beliefs you know nothing about. Nothing I'm saying about Haitian family values is ever stupid. Not saying that the kid can't end up being a Vol...all I'm saying is what I know for a fact which is he's a haitian kid and his family not Monte "trust" will make this happen or not happen. Problem with americans they try to speak for ALL countries and cultures.

I said Haitian have strong belief in family which is no different than saying Mormons choice faith over football. That's why the Top Qb (scouts)for '10 committed to BYU. His family will weigh heavily on this decision and not a great football coach. People forget that kids can't sign LOI without parents so if they says no Jeff not coming to UT. If this was just about football he would still live in Miami going to Northwest, BTW or any of the other powerhouse Dade schools. This is so much bigger than football.Your generalizing all Haitian's as having the same beliefs and values yet you call someone else stupid? If we could convince Bryce Brown's family to let him go to Tennessee, then we can convince Luc's.

Ignorant fail.
So can a specific country have a cultural norm or are those exclusive to religions.
HialeahGator stated that the Haitian belief in family is just as strong as a religion, and Brewerw is the ignorant one?
Every culture has strong family beliefs. Saying Luc's family will be just as important as a person's faith who goes to BYU is just silly.
Religious belief > Cultural belief. Especially a very common cultural belief like honoring your family. Religion usually affects culture, though.
Who are you to say that a religous belief trumps a cultural belief unless you are speaking on behalf of said religion and culture? You are not the authority. To each his own and to heck with those that are closed minded.
