I still don't understand why everyone is confident about Luc even though FLVOL53 said he was a silent... From what I have read Luc still plans on visiting Florida officially in December. I don't see how that looks good for us.

The head guy over the south for Scout.com said on the radio just a second ago that he talked to Luc yesterday and thinks he is going to stay in state. He sounded like Luc was only "considering" UT and "they (UT) have a shot still" but he thinks its UF. TIFWIW

yea me 2 i dnt see how that can be good ... if he decides in december and florida is his last visit......dnt sound good but im prayin ....

FL posted again this morning when someone asked him. He said that we are still good with Luc so I don't know. We will see I guess.

I doubt his brother would urge him to go to anywhere other than UF. Meyer recruited Abram when he was coming out of high school, so he has a very good relationship with their entire family. I would be shocked if Elam is not a gator.

Luc I still feel good about and don't think he is a UT lock that others on here do. He has kept most of his recruiting to himself so I think most of the news surrounding him is more speculation and rumors.

Green however, I don't have a whole lot of confidence in. The depth chart and having UT parents gives UT a great shot to get him. Not saying there is no way he goes to UF and you never know with a visit, but it doesn't look all that good.

I can't see Luc committing to UT unless his family visits. I believe Luc will be a gator in the end and many insider gator sources on gator country believe this as well. However, if the Luc family visits Knoxville then I would definitely give the edge to UT and it probably would be over.

Well yea. If his parents see the majestic beauty of the hills of east Tennessee compared to the swamp gassed, jort infested, rat's nest that is Gainesville I'd be pretty confident on UT as well.

Luc is my foavorite recruit. I try to follow him the best I can. But reading on other boards and comments in papers, I think our only shot at Luc will be if CCS gets a head coaching job. (somewhere other than fl when cum goes to nd)

I think this weekend game between Sebastian River vs. Treasure Coast is going to effect the recruitment of Luc. If they win he gets a bye week for the playoffs so that's his shot to get his parents to visit. Not sure if he plans on being a EE but if he does and they go deep in playoffs this going to hurt UT chances. I don't really see him leaving the state without parents visit. Not saying he's a gator but I think we all know if his parents aren't onboard this thing between Jeff and UT isn't going to happen. JMO

i want to know if we still lead or not. its weird he is vistiing florida twice but i think we still get him. he might even be a silent to us and brings his parents when the season is over

Well our insiders say vol lock so i guess they cancel out and we're back to 50/50 :p

He's just so quiet with his recruiting that I think most people don't really know. I wouldn't be surprised if he was leaning to either school right now because he doesn't say anything.

I have already mentioned some of these guys but here are some possibilities: Seastrunk-Auburn or USC; Luc-in state to FSU or Fla; Powell- Fla or USC; Jeffcoat- Texas or Arizona State; Floyd- Notre Dame/Ohio State or Penn State. Just guesses!

It's my understanding that Luc is a EE.

When is the deadline to Enroll early? Also, does he have to enroll even though he is elgible?

I did, but FlVol53 said his parents are sold and have complete trust in Monte Kiffin. If it wasn't 53 saying it, I would be more skeptical...

I guess none of you know any Haitian? My mother is Haitian. As a people they don't put approval in outsiders so that "complete trust in Monte" is UT insider chatter. TRUST me when I say this kid won't do anything without his mother seeing UT. That's the way Haitian family go about business just like Midddle Eastern and Asian cultures.
