Luc is a lock. After Monte's call he said this was his home. I'm still waiting freak's permission/ guidelines on posting interviews, but I finally got someone to answer at his house and have interview completed.

Pardon me for being skeptical. I am still wondering where BradstarVols is after claiming Elam was a silent to us. I am, however, looking forward to reading the interview.

Well let me say this, I am gonna give you the benefit of the doubt but if you are making this stuff up...I hope bad things happen to you.

Yeah, if the expert is making stuff up, an old middle eastern saying comes to mind... "may the fleas of a thousand camels infest your crotch, and may your arms be too short to scratch"

I think that being in Tennessee is a bid disadvantage with recruiting. For some kids I think location is too big of a factor and Texas, California, and Florida teams have a big advantage because of the recruits within state. Not that a staff can't overcome it, but I think it is hard to sustain.

I don't think it's a big disadvantage at all. It is definitely a disadvantage compared to USC and Miami, but Knoxville is just right for people looking for something not too big and not too small.

Look at the proximity to the Carolinas, Virginia, KY, Georgia and Alabama. There's plenty of talent throughout the southeast, not just in Florida. We've always been recruiting on a national scale and that is only going to get stronger under Kiffin. We don't have to make a living off FL, TX and CA. However, if we can go in and steal 2-3 guys each year we'll be more than dominate on the recruiting trail.

There is definitely a certain allure of playing in the SEC for kids on a national scale. We have the biggest stadium and the nicest facilities in the conference. We'll be fine.

Keep in mind, some are saying Luc is a UT lock. I'm not making the claim, but it is entirely possible that the #2 player in Florida is coming to UT. What is Kiffin somehow sways Elam. Doesn't look like it, but remember that Kiffin & Co. are ever so close to getting the top 2 players in Florida. Sustaining recruiting with this staff will be the least of our worries.

I hope he STAYS committed to us, if indeed he is already, until he signs. I think the thing with scroggins was that he was going to come here and had his mind made up, but then decided to go to USC for his reasons after the offer. Point is, these players can change their mind at any time for almost any reason. Also it is worth mentioning that Ralph Williams, a linebacker, is listed as a soft verbal to UT. I don't know if that has been said earlier. Just thought I'd mention that.

Jeff Luc will be the bama killer. He is just what we need to stop the likes of mark ingram and trent richardson. After seeing that game yesterday you dont know how pumped i am for the next few years of this rivalry. There will be so many great games it will truly grow to one of the great rivalrys in college football. Its gonna be epic meeting them twice a year

I doubt we lose Elam, however, Luc is looking like a strong possibility now when earlier it didn't look like it was too likely. I'm still not sold that he is leaning there yet, but I wouldn't be surprised.

Chaz Green though does seem to be leaning towards Tennessee, so that would be 2 quality players that Kiffin could steal from Florida.
