Florida has always had Jordan Hicks higher than Luc. There is a reason Meyer is personally recruiting him. But that doesn't mean he has fallen. I still think the Florida staff wants Luc, they would just take Hicks over him if they had to pick 1.

Yeah, we've heard he might not be fast twitch and that he has tight hips.

Regardless, I've got faith in our coaches and conditioning to make Luc a great Tennessee Vol. I can't believe people are bashing him for being physically mature. This is a plus...give him a playbook and he's ready to start next year!

Linebacker Jeff Luc of Port St. Lucie (Fla.) Treasure Coast also was considered a FSU lean at one point, but now appears to favor Florida and Tennessee. Actually, Luc may not be as high on the Gators' list as some think, as the Gators are higher on linebackers Jones and Jordan Hicks of West Chester (Ohio) Lakota West.

Seen on VQ that something with Christian Jones is holding Luc up. Is there anyway these two could both land at the same school....

I think we are after both pretty hard. But it is hard to imagne Jones going somewhere other than FSU. But with everything going on there.... who knows? I know he has liked us since way back. We have recruited him hard. If we could somehow land both of these guys.....

he said that Jeff loves FSU, but is worried about their depth. If depth wasn't an issue, he would have already committed to FSU. Doesn't think FL is in this race because Luc is worried about Charlie Strong leaving for a Head Coach job after this year. I do not understand what he sees in FSU besides being close to home. IMO we are actually 2 steps ahead of them in many different ways.

I think Bobby may be gone this year BUT if he does go it will be HUGE fuss between him and the AD. He does not want to go and IMO he will not go on his own. If they do not make him go, does Jimbo get tired of this and go? Prob not but who knows?

Then they start all over with coaching just like we did. I just think FSU is going to be in a world of hurt at the end of the season one way or the other.

I think you have to take this guy if he wants to come.

He may be a bust but with his size and strength, just cant pass him up. Assuming he wants to come here

I think he takes a Gerald Williams Type or roll. Starts off at MLB or OLB, but moves to the outside and becomes very very productive.

He has had trouble getting through blockers and getting to the ball. He doesn't play the toughest competition either. However, if you have the coaching we do that can be fixed. But I've heard he is kidna a head case and a coach killer.

I could see him playing at DE.
