What impact does the AJ Johnson commitment have on Luc? Are either fast enough or capable of playing outside if needed?

Luckily we have AJ Johnson on our side now. My sources tell me Luc has been wavering in the recent days to make his commitment to us. However, we should find out soon enough that he is coming to Knoxville.

Back on topic...your post is confusing...he's been wavering on a commitment he never made?

He didn't say he is wavering on his commitment to Tennessee. He said he is wavering on making a commitment to Tennessee.

I don't know who the guy is though or if he is legit so who knows. I am not too worried about what he says for now. :p

Read an interesting scouting report on Luc over on Gator Country

"He's not the type of linebacker like Ray Lewis that will run all over the field and make plays left and right. He is a stay at home middle line backer that will hardly ever miss an assignment."

that is interesting, because he really does seem like he would be the Ray Lewis type.

With his frame, that would route most RBs outside the tackles.:)

Luc is incredible talent as an assignment guy, and with conditioning will without a doubt be able to improve his speed and movement. I can't wait to see him along side the likes of AJ Johnson in a few years.

Can you let the rest of us know why you're positive he will be a Vol?

You sir are correct.

Can you help Bruce Pearl? We need more of the Bernard King magic meeting with Tobias Harris kind of stuff.

Lane Kiffin will be a stud recruiter and we will get good news rolling in on the board. Getting it a little earlier with your expertise will certainly be nice, but I am dying to know if we are going to get some fast big men to help Kenny Hall when Chism and Tyler Smith are gone.

I do love the Simpsons. No I don't love redbull. I'm praying next years recruiting class in basketball brings some help to Kenny (Hopefully Emanuel will be back), but Williams should be much improved true center type by then (although a little undersized). As far as Jeff Luc goes there has been quite a bit of murmuring about his love for Monte and the suggested role he would fill, but like I said earlier looks like he is wavering on deciding on us or not. I wouldn't be surprised if he waited until after his USC visit (10-23) to make his decision, which I ultimately believe will be us.

Luc has stiffness problems? Problem solved...

Monte will take him to his morning water aerobic and yoga classes and go on little walks afterwards around The Hill and sip green tea...Luc will be fine. A new form of mentoring.
