Do we really have a shot at this kid? In all his interviews, I havent noticed him mention us at all. Although, that may not be such a "bad" thing at all.....the two Byrnes kids didnt mention us a bunch either. I am SO PUMPED about this upcoming class. Regardless of how this year goes guys/gals, we are stock piling for the future like we used to in the late 90's.....the big difference that these extremely talented freshmen will actually have a chance to play right away instead of sitting on the bench for 2-3 years behind less talented upper classmen like we are used to.

I think UT is currently in 3rd place behind FSU and UF. I think he stays in state because that's what his Mom wants. FSU is going to be hard to beat with his brother going there. Still, I would say UT is definitely not out of it and anything can happen with recruiting.

No offense, but if he doesnt come to UT I would like to see him to ANYWHERE but UF (or any other SEC school for that matter). He will be a BEAST.

Luc has not been very vocal at all. He is keeping his comments to himself and that is why no one can verify his final selection. He may not have decided yet. Could be he is waiting to see the Auburn vs. UT game.

He did a ton of interviews in the summer during camps and on his road trip. But since he got back and the first rumor went out he was a Nole I have only seen him say he had not committed.

The longer this drags out the better chance we have.

It looks like UA might get an official visit from this kid. Not sure which game but it looks like he will visit us this fall. But I also don't believe he will leave the state of UF. According to an interview after our camp he liked that we played a 3-4 system, but interviews are easy to slant based on the questions asked.

I also hope he does not end up at UF.

i posted on another forum were scout has us as 3rd in ncaa recruiting and 5 ***** ,but rivals somehow has them all 4**** ,jauqez smith ranked 27 by scout and 50 sumthing by rivals i dont know which is the better recruiting magazine and i said since we only have 10 more spots available that luc,lamonier ,ronald powell ,keenan allen,deitric riley,gabe king and if cant get one of those db cristian bryant on the defensive side to go with these on the offenseive side would catapolt tennessee up to no 1 in recruiting offense linemen tj leifeit,juwane james,james stone, and danial robinson,ari koudanjin ,and michael dyer ,cristian green or giovanne bernard,of the players i put down i would love to see them all in orange it would move up kiffen,s timetable to next year contending and probally winning sec tital we need all 5 olinemen named even if we had to give up dyer or luc or powell actually powell can be dropped off unless we cant get luc or king because he said after recruiting started that he was going to remember who offered first which was tennessee but two weeks later he had flordia and usc high and cal and ut medium,its a pipe dream i know it would take a mirical to get luc and powell either one but a person can wish probally not king either but never know with monte there young guys just know they will get tought well and be nfl ready when they leave

He said he is not taking any officials in-state; he is just taking unofficials to the in-state schools. I expect UT, Bama, LSU, and UGA to get officials from him for sure. The real USC might get his 5th official...

Decade on VolQuest---

My brother-in-law said that Kiffin walked over to the Florida recruits and talked to several of them after the game. Apparently the recruit's hosts pulled on Luc's arm to get him to leave. I love our boy.

actually the recruits were in the endzone from what I was told and Luc went over and grabbed Kiffin and supposedly a couple of other recruits (not sure who yet, will find out) wanted to met Kiffin....heard it was a couple of 2011 guys that have never met him yet....LOL

Is that a violation? Talking to other schools recruits in person while their on an official visit to the other schools campus.
