i would love to have Luc. Kinda reminds me of an Al Wilson type linebacker. A great D can win with a mediocre quarterback. See the 98 season. I would rather him than Scroggins.

I agree ....except , Tee was an awesome QB

ya chump move to come after tee like that. he was the man. just didnt have the skills to play in the league. great college quarterback though

Peyton had that defense plus Leonard Little and Marcus Nash to throw to...

Haynesworth, Henderson and Walker > Little.
Peerless Price, Cedrick Wilson, Donte Stallworth > Kent and Nash.
Peyton >Tee

Tee was better than mediocre. He was good but not great . 1999 season was fairly disappointing when you look at that roster. Peyton just never beat Florida. I love them both but don't act like Peyton had more weapons.

The defense finally came together nicely game by game in 98, thats what happened.

That's just crazy talk, Tee was far from mediocre. It maybe true for others but not for him. I just wished he could have played one more year.

I hope you are not serious with the bolded players. Henderson was the only one of those on the team in '98 and he was a RS freshmen and in '99 they were freshmen. They did not see the field in the Tee Martin era...

The 2001 team is the one that really underachieved. Fulmer still says that the '01 team was the most talented team he ever coached...

I'm not saying Tee was better than Manning. All I'm pointing out is that he accomplished more. That fact cannot be argued...

Statistically:
Manning > Tee

Winning:
Tee > Manning

Fulmer later would claim that the 2005 Vols were his most talented team ever. And it's pretty tough to watch that 1998 UT-UF game and think lose with Peyton at QB.
