This will get merged and i am sorry for that but i thought it worthy to put it out there that Cody Riggs(Gerald Riggs Jr. little brother) now has the gators as his leader. You can see the link on the recruiting wire.

If he were to go to florida, would the tennessee fans find him and literally kill him? I mean its one thing to pick different than ut which is okay, but florida?!?!?!? Come on!!

why would we hate him if he went to flordia? we got the #1 back in the country and the #1 mult-purpose back in the country. I think we can handle it without him.

Well... he is a d-back instead of a running back for one thing. More and more, brothers go to different schools. Clausens, Mannings, Bryce and Bro, the exception of course would be... ROD WILKS!!!

I believe Riggs is a little overrated, but don't worry. He's changed his leader every time he takes a visit...

"Right now my top five is Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Notre Dame and Florida State," Riggs said. "Florida is my leader right now. I love the coaching staff and feel they can really prepare me for the next level. I have a real good relationship with coach (Vance) Bedford. Plus, you can get the great education at the University of Florida. So, it's really a good combination of both football and academics."

As it stands right now, the Riggs (official) visit schedule will be the following; Florida State (vs Miami on the weekend of September 4th), Tennessee (vs UCLA on the weekend of September 11th), Florida (vs Tennessee on the weekend of September 18th), Georgia (vs LSU on the weekend of October 2rd), and Notre Dame (vs USC on the weekend of October 15th).

As long as we're still getting an official visit, we still have a chance, IMO. He's had three different leaders at some point in time, which tells me he really doesn't know where he's going at this point.

Let's see here. Do I want to play for Charley Strong or Monty Kiffin? If you can't figure that out then go to the gators.

This is probably all for attention.

I know he gets to see us twice but we better have a good showing against Fla. If we beat UCLA and have a good showing at Fla then I think you will see Riggs and more recruits that are visiting those couple games to commit to us or put us at the top of their list.

If Cody Riggs is as lazy and unambituous and unfocused as his brother I am not sure we want him.

I saw St. Thomas play last year up here against Cincinnati Elder and I thought Joyner was a much better corner prospect than Riggs.

Joyner is probably the better overall player but a lot of scouts want to move him to safety. Riggs is being recruited specifically to play corner. I know UF is very high on Riggs, now more than ever with the Victor Hampton situation.

Joyner didn't play for Aquinas last season, he just transferred there this season...

I would like Riggs on this team, but I'm not sure we can wrestle him away from UF

I'm not saying we will get him, but it sounds like his leader is whoever he visits last. UGA and ND were both his leaders at one point

I agree. Joyner is a beast. I've kinda had the feeling that Riggs is a little overrated. I'd love to have him, but there are a few guys I would take over him...
