Not I, I believe that he rides off into the sunset and follows in the footsteps of Mitch Mustain and goes to USC. It amazes me how USC still gets the best players in the country even though they know that they will be buried on the depth chart for 2 years atleast if not for all 4 years.

As much as I wish Scroggins was going to choose UT, my gut just tells me that he is going to choose SC. I don't have any inside information or breaking news, just a gut feeling that the young man will choose to stay closer to home and play for the Trojans. Hopefully, Grayson will take this as a positive and commit for the Vols, who he says he has always been a fan of because of his affinity for Peyton, and from the stories I've read he's just hoping UT offers because he was so extremely excited to get the tour the campus and talk with the coaches last week on his way through. I think the other shoe that will drop will be LaMaison, and his commit will become official if my gut is right and Scroggins drops out of the picture. I guess maybe the staff can convince Brunetti to play for his supposed childhood team, but I think until the prospects see what happens with Crompton many will be unsure of CLK's genius. A good year for Crompton, suddenly we become a lot more attractive to a lot of QBs and who knows me might pull a rabbit out of the hat like we did with Brown and J. Jackson.

I'm going to go ahead and issue a preemptive "F" on anyone who does not share your belief.

I can only take so much of the mush-mouthing that we've lost him, and its all over......when it's not.

I don't know about everyone else on here, but I am for believing Tennessee lands him.

I'd rather be wrong and wildly disappointed in betting FOR Tennessee than be right and only less disappointed by betting against them.

Simply, I don't know about everyone else on here - but I am for Tennessee.

If this kid chooses USC than I hope that he rides the bench for the rest of his career. It would just make no sense to go there when he could change everything at Tennessee. He would be the face of our new program. But if he chooses USC than its just plain STUPID!!!

Tennessee makes sense. All the signs point towards USC. But Tennessee is the best move for his career and eventually his family. I hope his dad tells him that. Whats the difference between not being able to fly in for UT games and watch his son, and going to USC and watch his son on the bench. At least he can watch on TV as his son starts as a freshman in the best conference in the world.

I've had 8 miserable years of little to nothing to stand up and yell about - I'm going to do it whenever I can from now on.

Anybody else who doesn't is a sissy, or is unable to interpret the subtleties of humor placed somewhere other than in the course of a, "Martin" rerun.

According to talk radio radio 102.3 here in Chattanooga, Kiffin has already been informed that Scroggins will announce tomorrow that he is comitting to Southern Cal. I don't know who their sources are and it very well could still be rumor but they seemed very confident that it was true.

Sorry. I had held out hope but all info thats out there now points to an SC commit tommorrow. I really hope Im wrong on this, but don't think I am. Lets not call each other names, nor berate the kid for following his dream.

A bunch of rumors and inuendo on a handful of message boards...

There are about 4-5 people in this kids inner circle and they aren't leaking anything...

So any info you have seen is pure speculation...plain and simple

the problem with that line of thought is that there is no legit info out there that gives any indication of where scroggins is going...it's all conjecture and opinion at this point. so until jesse comes out and say's he is a trojan then i will believe that he is a vol.

I don't know why. I'm an idiot, I'm sure is the opinion. But there is not a single bone in my body that thinks he is going to USC. I just don't see it. If I'm wrong, I fully admit it. But I just have followed this for a long time, and for some reason, I just see him picking UT tomorrow. I hope I'm right. If I'm wrong, well, then all of you guys are right, and you obviously know more than me. But I'm predicting - Jesse Scroggins = VOL

I can picture it now...media days kicks off and CLK gets a remote and turns it to ESPN and tells CUM..."Just want to check something real quick Urbie if you dont mind", JS puts on an orange hat and CLK makes a point to tell CUM " Look Urbie...there isnt any blue mixed in with that orange." Then makes a point to tell spurrier the next time CLK stops off in SC while recruiting to make sure his players put more silicone on his tires and be sure to add more Bug-be-gone to the windshield. :)
