He's got his own thread. He's a juco coming this fall. We need help '09 here. The rumor is that you guys will be able to manage your QB situation through the season. :)

Seriously, though, are any SC fans giving UF any chance on Scroggins?

I hope ur right orangepearl, but I have my doubts.... I hope Scroggins makes me eat those words by donning the Big Orange hat on the 25th tho

The article falsely said that he signed a letter of intent to UT. That cannot be true because the deadline for LOIs was April 1. He will still be a Vol though, no doubt about it. He will basically just show up on campus in time for the start of fall practice.

There is something on scout (pinned at the top) that says he's announcing today. The update was from 12:35 PM today.

Who do we believe? Scout or GVX?

bingo, and come onto the team as a walkon and be granted a scholarship. ..there have been alot of false reports coming down the wire about this. I actually got a txt msg from KNS saying he signed. anyway SGM is right.

word is that it has come down to USC and UT and if I were to guess I would say it is 70% SC but only time will tell.

Coach Bates and Carroll + proximity to home are major pluses in our favor

Per Scout:

The Lancers counter with Scroggins, Dion Bailey, Ronald Lewis and Kevin Anderson. Scroggins and Bailey are expected to announce their verbal commitments during the camp: Scroggins has narrowed his list down to USC, Tennessee and Florida, while Bailey is choosing between USC and Notre Dame.

if you continue to hang around, you are going to have to provide some information on USC.

I know Michael Coleman was wanting to return this season. Is Pete letting him back? If not, is he going elsewhere?

Lam, the juco you mentioned, is 2009 (this year). We have no depth at QB.

I suspect there were offers, but the staff wouldn't accept them as commits. They want Jesse.
